ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST
JOB DESCRIPTION: -
- Expert in analytical Environmental parameters with respect to water, soil, Ambient and Stack monitoring, micrometeorological studies.
- Preparation of consent to establish and consent to operate as required by the Pollution Control Board.
- Preparation of compliance report as required by the MEEFCC and SPCB.
- Good knowledge in Ecological restoration and bio diversity studies
- Designing, maintenance and operation of ETP/ STP
- Undertaking all Environment aspects related to the Mine Execution and Operation,
- Close Coordination with Technical Team, EIA / ESIA Review and proof reading, Report writing
- Coordinate with MoEF for Environment Clearance, Coordinate with MoEF for Forest Clearance.
- Responsible for EIA (Environmental Impact Analysis), EC, CGWC (Central Ground Water Clearance) Documentation, liaising formalities.
- Perform research and analysis to understand environmental effects.
- Forecast potential environmental problems and provide recommendations.
- Conduct MINE inspections for environmental safety compliance.
- Analyse inspection data to understand pollution and contamination levels. Prepare inspection reports along with appropriate suggestions and recommend new processes to reduce environmental damages.
- Obtain environmental permits and develop environmental programs for Organisation.
- Provide trainings and guidance to team members as needed. Resolve environmental issues and escalate complex problems to higher.
Educational Qualification :-
M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Environmental Science or MTech in Environment Engineer.
Experience: -
8-12 years of experience as Environment Expert in Mining, Steel & Cement Company.
Mining Experience will be preferable.
Experience of getting all environmental clearances, Testing and Inspections.
Preparation of Environment Impact Assessment report.
Summarised JD
Handling EC (Environment Clearance), TOR process.
Compliance report as required by the MEEFCC & SPCB.
Designing, maintenance and operation of ETP/ STP.
EIA / ESIA, MoEF for Environment Clearance, Forest Clearance.
Required Candidate profile

What We’re Looking For
Education

Experience

Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001. Proficiency in data analysis tools and sustainability software is highly desirable.
Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging way to diverse audiences.
