Quality Inspector

KBR is looking for Quality Inspector who shall work with Business, Project, Procurement and Engineering Disciplines to provide inputs on quality aspects of static equipments, such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers for process plants.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
+ Manage Interface with various disciplines and provide inputs on quality, welding and NDE aspects for process equipment.
+ Review of technical offers from bidder to ensure compliance related to quality, welding and NDE aspects.
+ Perform / lead supplier evaluation process and provide recommendations based on the audits.
+ Conduct Pre-inspection meeting at supplier place and KOMs.
+ Review quality documents like ITP, Weld book, PWHT, NDE, procedures and final documentation.
+ Perform / lead inspection at supplier's place as per ITP.
+ Handle TPI inspector assignment for projects. Review and release TPI inspector reports to project team.
+ Develop CTQ (Critical to Quality checklist) for process equipment's based on project specifications and past learnings.
+ Manage interface with suppliers and clients on quality, welding and NDE aspects.
+ Develop work processes/tools for smooth and efficient execution of quality management.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
+ 10-15 years of relevant experience with a more than 5 years in a reputed organization.
+ Mechanical Engineering from a Reputed Institute
+ In-depth knowledge of Pressure vessel fabrication as per ASME, EN and other international codes
+ Exposure in inspecting ASME Code Stamped equipment.
+ In-depth knowledge of fabrication practices, QC methodologies, witnessing equipment pressure testing and final inspection.
+ Should be conversant with Heat Treatment and related requirements as per ASME / API.
+ In-depth knowledge and experience in Quality Control aspects of Raw Materials, Receiving Inspection, Fabrication Inspection, Final Inspection and Documentation.
+ Experience of working on materials like CS, Low alloy steels, stainless steels, Inconel etc.
+ Should be conversant with ISO 9001 Quality Systems Requirements.
+ Level II Certifications in PT, MT, RT and UT under ASNT is must.
+ CSWIP or equivalent welding certification is preferred.
+ Proficiency in Refractory and Painting Inspection Requirements will be preferred.
+ Exposure to KBR technology is preferred.

**Job Description**

+ Coordinate with contractors and site engineers.
+ Maintain daily progress reports.
+ Ensure timely completion of assigned work.
+ Undertake the site supervision tasks assigned by construction manager.
+ Maintain site safety and perform quality checks and report con conformity to construction manager.
+ Experience in rubble mound breakwater/bund construction preferred
**Qualifications**
+ B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
+ Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction.
