About the opportunity:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Managing the client expectations accordingly with the maximum output in terms of Media Pulling and the Media Coverage for the client
- Managing events responsibly by pulling the required number of media attendance and ensuring the smooth coordination with the Media during the event
- Coverage Follow-ups and Managing the Coverage from the media on a regular basis and sharing with the team timely
- Crisis management and pitching stories
- Contributing to overall media outcomes on large clients
- Proactively reaching and engaging with teams and team heads and developing large format stories to ensure impact and outcomes – cover stories, large format interviews and opeds.
- Updating media database regularly
- Counsel the practice teams on the media trends and happenings
Functional Skills
- Strong expertise and knowledge of the industry: Depth and Breadth of Media Experience – Knowledge and understanding of the changing media landscape, strong relationships with the key media houses and the network to access the right media for the right outcomes
- Strong relationship with media and deep understanding of media platforms and emerging trends
- Depth and Breadth of Consulting Experience
- Understanding of clients and ability to pitch stories

This Role will be a part of the Media Relations Centre of Excellence. It will support the organization’s communications at a national level specially at Mumbai. The expectation is to drive external communication strategies and plans for the company and ensure that consistent and positive messages/ communications are released that promotes positive corporate image among various stakeholders through various media platforms.
Role and expectations
- A strong and known face in media fraternity: National media (Press / TV) should have excellent relations with him/her as s/he needs to handle media relations with deep engagement.
- Strong content expertise
- Able to build relationship networks internally to engage widely and create narratives for the company
- Develop overall media relations strategy in collaboration with Head Communications and media relations CoE lead Provide Input for regional communications materials like newsletters, blogs, press releases and similar marketing materials in order to promote company’s products and services.
