**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Assembly Line Work**:
- Assemble parts and products in an efficient, high-volume environment.
- Operate machines or tools to assemble or manufacture products.
- **Machine Operation**:
- Set up, operate, and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Monitor machine functions to ensure proper operation and adjust settings when necessary.
- **Quality Control**:
- Inspect products for defects or quality issues.
- Follow quality control procedures and ensure that products meet required specifications.
- **Material Handling**:
- Transport raw materials and finished goods within the factory.
- Load, unload, and store products in designated areas.
- **Packaging**:
- Package finished products for shipment or distribution, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
- **Safety Compliance**:
- Adhere to safety procedures and policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, or hearing protection as required.
- **Maintenance**:
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning or lubricating parts.
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other factory workers and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate any concerns or suggestions for improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Some factories may provide on-the-job training.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not always required.
- **Skills**:
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
