**About the Position**
Dimagi is seeking a Field Coordinator to support the implementation of mobile technology-based public health projects. **This is a 12 month contractual position with the option to extend per the project requirements and performance of the individual. **The Field Coordinator will work with Dimagi to support several agencies, block, district, and state governments with implementation projects across the country. This position in Dimagi’s India Division will be affiliated with our office in Delhi and is also open to remote employment.
**Please note** that this position may require temporary relocation to the project location and extensive travel within 2-3 states to work with government officials at block, district and state level as well as interact with end users.
**Responsibilities**
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week. This may involve providing communication and coordination with several agencies included but not limited to local Govt. officials, FLWs, supervisors etc.
- Facilitate distribution of reports in the format specified by Dimagi.
- Assist in other project activities, as needs arise.
**Relevant Skills**
- Completed graduate degree
- 3-4 years of experience, preferably in public health or IT projects, though technical qualifications are not mandatory
- Experience working with state or local government stakeholders and health workers/end-users at village level
- Fluency and excellent communication skills in English; additional fluency in a regional language preferred
- Ability to work remotely from India but can require traveling based on project requirements
- May require temporary relocation to a location and extensive travel within 2-3 states to work with government officials at block, district and state level as well as interact with end users.

A three-day consultative workshop was organized at Kangra district, where various stakeholders like farmers, officials from horticulture, livestock, bee-keeping, irrigation, banks, NGO, agriculture, ITI, and DIC participated. Based on the discussion and secondary data, the project activities are designed.
