Key Responsibilities
Perform in-depth electrical diagnostics on elevator systems, including controllers, variable frequency drives, safety circuits, and network communication protocols.
Review callback trends and quality feedback, identify recurring issues, and implement targeted corrective and preventive strategies.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for electrical component failures and develop permanent corrective actions.
Support installation crews and site personnel in resolving complex technical challenges during setup and commissioning.
Execute Product Upgrade Instructions (PUIs), validate their effectiveness on-site, and ensure seamless integration.
Investigate component failures, document findings, and provide actionable insights to manufacturing and R&D teams.
Deliver hands-on training and mentorship to field technicians, enhancing their electrical troubleshooting skills.
Collaborate with quality, engineering, and customer service teams to address high-priority issues and optimize system performance.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or a related field).
5-8 years of practical experience in elevator or escalator maintenance, installation, or commissioning.
Strong knowledge of elevator controls, including microprocessor controllers, motor drives, CAN bus, serial communication, and safety mechanisms.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, specialized software, and elevator-specific equipment.
Proven ability to analyze callbacks, implement preventive measures, and prepare RCA reports.
Excellent communication and reporting skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor field staff, improving technical competency across teams.
