Role Overview

We’re looking for a Finance Executive to join our team and manage key aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role involves ensuring timely and accurate invoice booking, vendor and customer reconciliations, accruals, and audit compliance. You’ll also support monthly closings and prepare MIS reports related to AP and AR.


Key Responsibilities

As a member of our finance team, you will be entrusted with critical functions that support the

company’s growth and financial health. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


1. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:

● Ensure Timely booking of the invoices in the ERP

● Ensure Monthly Accruals are done for Open Purchase Orders and Invoices not received

● Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing by providing necessary AP reports.

● Support audits by ensuring documentation and compliance with company policies.

● Ensure Vendor Reconciliations and sign off on regular basis

● Ensure timely booking of customer invoices in the ERP

2. Preparation of MIS:

● Oversee and ensure compliance with key regulations including the Companies Act, Income

4. Process Improvement:

● Identify areas for process improvements and bring efficiencies in existing financial systems

and practices.


5. General Finance Support:

● Assist in various other finance-related activities and projects as needed, working closely

with other departments.


What We’re Looking For


Required Qualifications

● Educational Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA-Finance with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience or completed articleship.

● Experience: Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, exposure to healthcare or startup environments is considered a plus

● Knowledge of Regulations: Deep understanding of GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax regulations.

● Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from financial data.

Proven experience in a high-growth startup environment and in a business partnering role, ideally with exposure to startup and/or healthcare sectors.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from financial data.

● Proficiency in Financial Software

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as Zoho Books, along with advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with reporting automation tools is a plus.

● Interpersonal Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.

● Attention to Detail

A meticulous approach to managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting.

● Tech Proficiency
