The role scope goes beyond traditional accounting, and it will support the Finance and Administration function in fulfilling accountabilities and responsibilities including providing day to day solutions to ensure smooth business operations. 

This is an office-based role where you will work collaboratively with peers and be willing to travel to other local TOMRA Food sites in Bangalore when required.

Role Summary

We are seeking a capable and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team and support the growing needs of the business. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for day-to-day financial operations and a clear progression pathway to Finance Manager. 5. Systems and Controls:

•  Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting directly to an experienced Finance Manager, you will be responsible for driving the monthly and annual processes, whilst supporting continuous improvement and more ad-hoc business projects as they arise.

You have advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and the ability to work toward tight timelines. You are highly flexible. The Accountant will be primarily focused on the annual financial close process, preparation and review of statutory accounts and other compliance obligations. You will be required to work on various accounting projects and supplementary works as part of the continuous improvement of the statutory compliance process.

• Preparation of extended trial balance for annual statutory accounts for international entities.
• Preparation and review of statutory financial statements for international entities.
• Preparation of flux analysis and overall understanding of International entities.
• Preparation of journal entries, review general ledger accounts and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS.

Basic Qualifications
