**Key Responsibilities / Functions / Role:**
- Preparation/review of financial statements/regulatory reports like- Balance sheet, P&L, SOI, Notes to financial statements. Understanding of regulatory disclosures to SEC and other EMEA Regulatories
- Acting as subject matter expert for the team. Following US GAAPs, IFRS, Lux GAAPs and IRISH GAAPs.
- Identify Opportunities to implement process improvement & recommend system, service & process enhancement initiatives and efficiency gain

**Desired Candidate Profile :**
- 8-12 years of experience in Fund accounting/ Financial Reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds.
- M. Com, MBA, Post-Graduation from recognized business institute/university, major in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional qualifications like CA, CFA, and CPA will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Confluence Unity financial reporting platform/DFIN- Publishing and Workbook functionality, is a plus
- 3-5 years of people management experience is preferred
- Demonstrate leadership & management skills, ability to work in team-oriented environment
- Should have sound understanding of Derivatives, Equities and Fixed income securities.
- Prior working experience in BPO/captive on capital markets back office processes, is a plus.

We are recruiting for a newly formed Core Risk Management (Core RM) group, whose objective it is to advance risk management practices at BlackRock, delivering scale and resilience to the risk management platform. This opportunity is to join the Core Investment Risk Oversight team within Core RM, which will work with Investment Risk Managers and other BlackRock teams across the globe to enable efficient and effective governance and oversight of BlackRock's investment portfolios in accordance with Investment Risk Management policies and procedures. - The incumbent will have to work closely with the Leadership Team of the Market/Country Organization and across functions like General Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and HR
- The incumbent will have to play a leading role in driving the E2E processes related to Business Planning and Forecasting – Quarterly FC, Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and 3 Year Strategic Plans
- The incumbent will be the single point of contact for the Market/Country in providing decision support and actionable intelligence to the business, through analytics and insights on financial performance, MIS and Reporting
- The incumbent will be expected to team up with the Market/Country leadership in driving operational excellence in areas like Margin Management, NMC reduction initiatives, channel and customer profitability, sales promotion effectiveness, budgetary controls over discretionary costs, slow moving and obsolete Inventories etc.
- The incumbent will attend all relevant and important business meetings (e.g. S&OP meetings, Weekly Sales Review Meetings, Performance Review Meetings) and keep track of follow up actions therefrom and proactively bring financial issues to the attention of relevant stakeholders.
- The incumbent will participate in cross functional continuous improvement projects
- The incumbent should be flexible on timing, depending on the markets assigned
What you’ll need
- Chartered Accountant
- Excellent people management skills in working closely with cross functional teams within the organization and external stakeholders.
- Consistent approach as well as calculated risk mind set are drivers for success
- 8+ years of experience in Finance, preferably FP&A domain
