Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, tech-savvy MIS & Business Reporting Manager to join our growing team across our brands — Funk Foods, Chutnefy (5-Second Chutneys ) and Simplify (100% Clean Label Foods).
You’ll play a strategic role at the heart of our system - building visibility, structure, and efficiency across our D2C, offline retail, Q-Commerce and Marketplace channels. From tracking sales to managing inventory health and setting up automation tools, you’ll make sure the business runs like a well-oiled (but clean-label) machine.
If you love numbers, systems, and problem-solving — and have a knack for making messy data talk — this one’s for you.
What you’ll be taking care of
Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Track and consolidate daily/weekly/monthly sales across D2C (Shopify), Amazon, Q-commerce, and Offline Retail - India & International
- Build and automate dashboards to monitor revenue, category-wise performance, and inventory movement.
- Analyze trends and highlight actionable insights for leadership — not just data, but what to do with it.
- Support business reviews with structured reports that help in decision-making and forecasting.
Inventory & Supply Coordination
- Maintain accurate inventory data across platforms and reconcile stock positions between warehouses, channels, and marketplaces.
- Identify fast- and slow-moving SKUs and share reorder or liquidation recommendations.
- Support Operations & Sales in ensuring availability and healthy stock levels across D2C, Amazon, and offline partners.
- Work with teams to plan for promotions, seasonal peaks, and new product launches.
Technology, Tools & Automation
- Set up and maintain data automation processes using tools like Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Excel Macros, Data Studio, and other BI tools.
- Collaborate with individual teams to integrate Shopify, Amazon Seller & Vendor Central, & other Platform data pipelines.
- Continuously improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual dependency, and improve speed of insights.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Ops, and Marketing teams to ensure all numbers speak the same
- language.
- Provide data support for budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning.
- Serve as the information hub for channel performance, inventory health, and financial tracking.
What we’re looking for
- 2–3 years of experience in MIS, Reporting, or Inventory Management , preferably in FMCG / Consumer Goods.
- Experience working across online + offline retail channels (Shopify, Amazon, marketplaces, and distributors).
- Strong technical acumen : comfortable with using (and building) data automation tools, integrations, and BI dashboards.
- Highly analytical with excellent Data analysis skills.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive - you catch mismatched numbers before anyone else does.
- Strong communication skills to present data simply and clearly to non-technical teams.
- A natural curiosity for food, retail, and how data drives business growth.
What We Offer
- A high-ownership, high-impact role that’s central to our growth engine.
- Exposure to D2C, marketplaces, and offline retail — all under one roof for multiple brands and geographies.
- Collaborative startup culture - structured, but never boring.
- Competitive pay and the satisfaction of knowing your reports help everyone sleep better at night
