What is expected from this role to start with?

  • Start as a hands-on lead and grow the
    Team as business grows within a few months;
  • Manage and govern the team for an end-to-end talent acquisition process for various types of engangements e.g. perm, contract, contract to hire, SOW based etc.
  • Manage the team members to ensure that they follow a consultative approach to understand the on-site IT job role requirements & expectations of banking & financial services clients;
  • Understand various financial technologies involved in the role and how it works;
  • Derive an effective sourcing strategy to reach out to right group of tech talents within the USA country of job role;
  • Understand the matching skills/capabilities/aspirations of the tech talents;
  • Guide talents for their career progression in a consultative manner (candidate management);
  • Work closely with business development managers;
  • Present the right talent profiles to the clients;
  • Own-up and build good rapport/relationship with the clients and shortlisted candidates through out the process;
  • Manage shortlisted candidates proactively with a consultative approach;
  • Facilitate the matching/hiring process for the client to hire the right talents, bingo That's what is expected from this role;
  • New client acquisition: any responsibilities related to new client acquisition shall be most welcome;
  • Result Orientation: Your sincere efforts towards talents' success, client and community delight to have a meaningful career.

Who shall fit-in the best for this role?

  • Relevant work experience of at least 10 years in executive search or IT talent acquisition or tech recruitment shall be needed;
  • At least 5 years of proven track record in financial technology or Data & AI talent recruitment for banking and/or insurance clients is a must;
  • Good understanding of various platforms being used within financial services and/or insurance industries shall be required;
  • Team management experience is needed;
  • Experience or aptitude for new client acquisition shall be preferred;
  • Understanding of various employment types e.g. C2C, 1099, C2H, W2 etc. and work authorisations e.g. GC holder, H1-B etc. is a must;
  • Communication, inter-personal skills, meticulous and result-orientation are the most important attributes for this role;
  • Having a mind-set of delivering value to make candidates/clients succeed and commitment to the purpose of the role;
  • Willingness to work in USA business hours;
  • Positive attitude to put-in efforts to achieve the desired goals shall make you a good fit for this role;
  • Education in engineering or computer science related discipline shall be highly desired;

SPFT is looking for a highly motivated Systems Dev Engineer to help build Amazon's business-critical financial systems and build system solutions to operate at scale. You will work on critical finance business functions for our customers around the world while meeting system availability goals and ensuring system performance with growing business needs. You will discover innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure as we expand globally. You will work together with multiple teams and departments, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding computing systems and for applying that understanding with an obsession for delighting customers. In this role, you will apply your skills of system design, networking, coding/scripting languages, as well as technical communication and project organization to make your impact on improving our business processes. The candidate is expected to contribute work-critical initiatives, build products, lead engineers to troubleshoot, debug, evaluate, and resolve computer-identified alarms, make feature enhancements, manage systems, perform software deployments and migrations, manage hosts, and automate operational tasks.
They would also be responsible for developing tools and end-to-end automation to achieve human-free operations.

As an engineer in the team, you will take part in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale and complex software systems. You will get to leverage your experience and expertise to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems. You will communicate your ideas effectively to achieve the right outcome for your team and customer. You enjoy collaborating with others to increase the effectiveness of the overall team. Your code, design, and implementation decisions should set a great example for other engineers. You will also have the opportunity to impact the technical decisions in the broader organization as well as mentor other engineers in the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
