In this role you will:
Deliver a Best-in-Class customer experience by continuously improving platform, code and services that enable receivables globally
Build services/integration for Financial Applications
Design and Develop Best integration patterns for our system. Leverage and integrate with different tools, technologies and products within Amazon to reduce operational cost and enhance customer experience
Partner directly with other Software Development Engineers (SDEs), Technical Program Managers, Functional Analysts and Customers to understand features and continuously identify opportunities to build and deploy software solutions.

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
The Finance Controllership organization is looking for a talented and experienced product owner to drive the transformation of Regulatory Reporting capabilities across our international markets. These products will support the highly complex nature of the evolving regulations across countries and ensure we meet compliance needs with high stability and flexibility. The transformation will drive efficiency and improvements in agility, cost, innovation, and speed to market.
As a Product Owner for International Regulatory Reporting team, you will be critical part of supporting the product team. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct data analysis, data mapping and validation during Discovery and Envisioning phases of each process. You will also be working side by side with engineering teams to prioritize the backlog, develop features and collaborate to deliver on Controllership initiatives. You will work with execution teams to ensure delivery of consistently high-quality, timely feature launches.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 4 years experience in product management with an ascending level of responsibility.
+ 3 years experience in data analysis.
+ Strong SQL knowledge and practical experience in multiple database platforms.
+ Blend of Finance and Technology experience is critical for this role. Technical discipline degree with Finance experience or Finance-focused degree with technology experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with software and product development processes and tools (Rally, Confluence, etc).
+ Experience with International Finance Regulatory Reporting or compliance practices.
+ Experience with SDLC with a focus on agile and scrum software delivery methodologies.
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels, internally and externally.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences, including senior leaders.
+ Enthusiasm for innovation, problem-solving, risk mitigation and skilled at translation and articulation of product needs
+ Proficient in creating clear and concise communications using Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Visio
+ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills
+ Project management skills, ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
+ Experience driving delivery of enterprise tools at a global company.
+ Familiarity with one or more programming languages is desirable.
+ Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products is desirable.
