About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Senior Associate – Trust & Safety Engineer to join our Trust & Safety operations at Radix. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting the integrity of our domain name space by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating abusive domain activities. You will collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders to enforce abuse policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and stay ahead of the evolving landscape of DNS threats and cybersecurity risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor domain registrations and related DNS activities to detect abusive behavior including phishing, malware distribution, spam, and other violations.
• Analyze abuse trends and proactively implement detection and response strategies.
• Enforce domain abuse policies in alignment with ICANN and regulatory frameworks.
• Coordinate with registrars and third-party security agencies to investigate and mitigate domain abuse cases.
• Prepare incident reports, metrics dashboards, and executive summaries on abuse handling and mitigation efforts.
• Work closely with legal, compliance, and security teams to ensure enforcement actions meet regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in domain abuse, DNS security, and Internet governance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of abuse detection and incident response systems and workflows.

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in domain abuse investigation and mitigation.
• Strong understanding of domain name systems (DNS), domain registration workflows, and Internet governance policies.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools, abuse monitoring platforms, and incident response best practices.
• Excellent analytical and forensic investigation skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Highly Preferred Skills & Qualities:

• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, PHP, MySQL, etc).
• Experience with API development and microservices architecture for abuse detection automation.
• Familiarity with frontend development for internal tools and dashboards (e.g., JS/CSS).

• Work with large, complex datasets; solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced quantitative methods as needed.
• Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, model development and evaluation, as well as written and verbal delivery of results to business partners.

About the role

Our global Conflicts and new Business Intake department is seeking a Conflicts Risk Assessment Lawyer to join our global team. This role will be permanent full time role with the opportunity to work in a hybrid or predominantly remote work environment (with the occasional in office meeting and social events). This global department, part of the Firm wide Office of the General Counsel function, is responsible for the critical tasks of handling new business intake requests and associated conflict checks, client due-diligence and compliance work.

 What does the role involve?

This is a great role which involves exposure to a variety of matters with daily interactions with colleagues all around the world. On a daily basis you will be:

• Analysing and evaluating conflict search requests;
• Conducting extensive corporate affiliation and client quality research;
• Applying relevant professional rules of conduct, firm policies, regulations, and risk guidelines;
• Identifying and resolving potential conflict issues and providing a concise and complete summary report for relevant stakeholders such as partners, senior management and the General Counsel;
• Reviewing, drafting and providing advice on client engagement agreements, conflict waivers, external publications and outside counsel guidelines; and
• Vetting all new business intake requests to ensure compliance with the Firm's business direction.
