**Job Description**
The role of a USB Eco system development engineer, focusing on developing and validating features for SanDisk's existing and future pSSD and USB solutions, as well as ramping up iNAND/UFS Eco system activities and working with OEM partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
+ USB/Storage Ecosystem Development: Work with USB host partners, internal product teams, and OEM partners to align, develop, and validate features for pSSD and USB solutions. Also, ramp up activities for iNAND/UFS ecosystems.
+ Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of USB protocol, device drives, and Windows/MAC drivers is essential.
+ Feature Development & Representation: Develop product-specific features, represent SanDisk in customer/partner QTRs (Quarterly Technical Reviews), and review meetings.
+ Communication & Collaboration: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, build relationships with partners/customers, and collaborate closely with outbound and inbound marketing teams.
+ Standard Compliance & Debugging: Work with USB/UFS standard teams to develop TPs (Technical Proposals) for USB and/or iNAND product lines. Capable of Host trace analysis, specific benchmark/workload analysis, and host-side driver debugging for Windows and MAC systems.
+ Requirement Translation & Early Engagement: Understand customer/partner requirements and translate them into product requirements or features. Engage early with customers/partners for platform prototypes/samples, conduct interoperability testing, and compliance testing to improve compliance early in the cycle for product lines .
**Qualifications**
+ BE/ME with 8+ years of relevant experience in embedded systems or Firmware development ,preferably with Storage domain experience and USB/NVMe protocol experience
+ This role will require to work with customers/Eco system partners in order to build relationship with them and engage with them for technical discussions and solution development which benefit both Sandisk and Eco system partners
