The role of a Flow Simulation Engineer involves defining, developing, and deploying production discrete event simulation models and operation simulations. The key responsibilities include:

Creating, delivering, and standardizing discrete event simulation models for existing and future manufacturing Lines/Plants.

Collaborating with industrial engineers on simulations to balance production rates, understand material flow, determine buffer requirements, and maximize factory throughput.

Creating and defining future processes, exploring improved ways of working.

Analyzing throughput simulation results of the production line, including logistics supply and traffic.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, with 6 to 10 years of experience in discrete event simulation modeling. Preference given to those with hands-on experience in Plant Flow Simulation Tools.
Essential Skills:

Experience in a startup environment and participation in the creation of new processes.

Knowledge of industrialization principles.

Expertise in Tecnomatix plant flow simulation tool.
Desired Skills:

+ Accurately perform sizing and enter quote proposal in the business systems, send quote sizing and other related documents to the internal/external customers as required taking into consideration technical deviations, the customer's lead-time and budgetary requirements.
+ Generate engineering specifications based on Customer's flow metering requirements
+ Translate customer's project documentation requirements to specific quotable items.
+ Liaise with EMR divisions/factories on customer's special requirements mainly inspection scope, packing specs. Special testing/certification requirement.
+ Develop final formal proposal packages
+ Follow project bid submission procedure
+ Maintain high quality standards on proposal deliverables.

OVERVIEW The Director of Process & Chemical Engineering will lead the development and scale-up of scalable bioprocessing systems, serving as the technical bridge between laboratory R&D, photobioreactor (PBR) operations, pilot facilities, and commercial deployment sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and optimize scalable process systems from lab to commercial scale
- Lead process design, mass and energy balances, and process flow diagrams (PFDs) for carbon capture and algae-based bioprocessing
- Collaborate closely with PBR engineering teams to optimize cultivation parameters and reactor performance
- Work with laboratory teams to translate bench-scale findings into scalable process designs
- Coordinate with pilot plant teams to validate process parameters and scale-up strategies
- Interface with on-site deployment teams to ensure smooth technology transfer and implementation
- Establish process control strategies, critical process parameters (CPPs), and process analytical technology (PAT) frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational scales

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
