14.Responsible for the selection, motivation, and development of QC personnel to ensure all positions are effectively staffed and future team is

Our client, a leading food processing company, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to manage and oversee all sanitation operations within their facilities. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in India, focusing on developing and implementing robust cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. You will lead a team of sanitation staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a pristine and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive cleaning and sanitation programs in accordance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
  • Supervise and train sanitation staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all production areas, equipment, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and identify potential hazards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and inspection reports.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to address any sanitation-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sanitation technologies and best practices in the food industry.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all sanitation personnel adhere to safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve sanitation-related problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all sanitation processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Food Safety, Sanitation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sanitation or cleaning operations, preferably within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising a team and managing operational tasks.
  • Solid understanding of food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant hygiene standards.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation best practices.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer applications for record-keeping.
