Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Footwear Merchandiser at Suvaa. The role is on-site and located in New Delhi. If you are passionate about footwear and have a proven track record in end-to-end product merchandising, we would love to meet you.
What will you do
1) Source materials & components
Negotiate with material suppliers, sole vendors, and hardware partners to secure competitive pricing, lead times, and capacity forecasts aligned with brand objectives.
2) Drive product development
Work with production and QA teams to oversee sample creation, fit sessions, and pre-production approvals.
3) Manage production & logistics
Track factory schedules, ensure quality checkpoints, and coordinate with supply-chain and logistics partners for on-time deliveries.
4) Analyze trends & performance
Research market trends, benchmark competitor offerings, and review sales data to optimize SKU assortments and maximize sell-through.
5) Collaborate across teams
Partner closely with the founder, design, and product teams to align on vision, timelines, and go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of merchandising experience in footwear (or a closely related fashion category).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, factory capacity planning, and quality standards.
- Proven skills in vendor management, sourcing negotiations, and end-to-end supply-chain coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel and other merchandising tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multi-project management under tight timelines.

vertical for Cult Sport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the design
direction for our footwear category, translating brand strategy into trend-forward and
