Job Description

Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer requirements.

Monitor and ensure the smooth running of casting operations from pattern making to final machining.

Ensure timely delivery of products as per quality and quantity standards.

Evaluate and improve casting processes to reduce defects, waste, and cycle time.

Introduce new methods and technologies to increase productivity and efficiency.

Maintain process standardization and documentation (SOPs).

Collaborate with the Quality Department to implement quality standards.

Investigate and analyze defects such as porosity, shrinkage, blow holes, etc.

Ensure corrective and preventive actions are in place to maintain casting quality.

Monitor the entire casting process, from raw material inspection to final product testing.

Identify and analyze casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, sand inclusions, and cracks.

Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce rework and scrap rates

Perform NDT techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiography (X-ray), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT).

Conduct DT methods like hardness testing, tensile testing, and microstructure analysis.

Interpret test results and recommend process adjustments if required.

Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates.

Ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 9001, ASTM, ASME, and IATF 16949.

Prepare and submit reports for customer audits and regulatory requirements.

Use tools like 8D, Fishbone Diagram, and 5 Whys to identify root causes of defects.

Work with production and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.

The Role

We are seeking a Palantir Data Engineer with a strong data engineering skillset focused on operations and support. You will work across both Azure
and
Palantir Foundry
environments, taking responsibility for the operation and support of integrations between Azure and Palantir. This role involves Palantir data ingestion and broader Foundry development work.

As a hands-on resource, you'll be expected to demonstrate your expertise during the interview process and hit the ground running from day one.

Key Responsibilities

·   Build and maintain data pipelines across Azure and Palantir Foundry platforms

·   Manage integration between the Azure environment and Palantir Foundry

·   Develop Python transforms and manage source type references, data connections, codes, and repositories

·   Build and maintain models, business logic, templated analysis, and reports

·   Configure and manage Ontology Manager components, including object types, functions, object views, actions, and permissions

·   Develop applications using Workshop, implementing writeback functionality and advanced actions

·   Ensure data foundation security, data protection, governance, restricted access, and restricted views

·   Work with time series data from equipment and sensors within an Oil & Gas context

·   Maintain data lineage and use Object Explorer effectively
