Position: Foundry Quality-Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our Foundry Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection processes within a jobbing foundry environment (up to 20T capacity), with expertise in pattern inspection, moulding, marking, and finish-machined castings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of castings, patterns (Full Mould & Conventional), moulds, and machined components.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications throughout the foundry process.
• Collaborate with production and design teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare quality reports.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for non-conformities.
• Support audits and customer inspections as required.
• Train and mentor junior quality staff.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 12 years of hands-on inspection experience in a jobbing foundry shop (up to 20T capacity).
• Proficient in inspecting various types of patterns, moulding processes, and finish-machined castings.
• Strong understanding of foundry operations and casting defects.
• Familiarity with marking standards and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Role Description

The Foundry Manager Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the marketing operations within the foundry sector, developing strategies to enhance market penetration, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Lead and manage all foundry engg activities related to aluminum alloy wheel manufacturing

Improvement in casting processes (LPDC, GDC)

Work closely with R&D, quality, and production teams

Oversee and maintain foundry equipment (furnaces, casting etc)

8 to 10 Years experience in leading shell sand and green sand foundry operations.

Knowledge of chilled grey cast iron and ductile iron casting process.

Knowledge of Shell Sand and Green Sand Foundry processes

Required Candidate profile

Establish and monitor chemical and physical properties of all metals poured to meet customer specifications and governing standards
