Our client is looking for reliable and efficient Delivery Drivers to join their express logistics network on a contract basis. This role offers the unique advantage of being predominantly remote in terms of initial onboarding and dispatch management, though the core function involves local deliveries. You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and goods to customers within a designated service area. This position requires an individual who is organized, customer-service oriented, and possesses excellent time management skills. Key responsibilities include picking up shipments from designated hubs, planning efficient delivery routes, safely operating a delivery vehicle, ensuring accurate package handling and delivery confirmation, and providing exceptional customer service upon delivery. You will utilize a company-provided app for route optimization, delivery tracking, and communication. The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and preferably experience in delivery services or a similar field. Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial. A smartphone with reliable data access is required for using our dispatch and tracking software. While the dispatch and management aspects can be handled remotely, the actual delivery operations will require you to be physically present in the service area. We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated, responsible, and committed to meeting delivery targets. This is a remote-first facilitated role within the driving and transport sector, allowing for flexibility in how you manage your work schedule within operational hours.
