What you will do:
- Create robust frontend solutions using state-of-the-art technologies. You will build components that are used throughout all of Omio's frontends (mobile, desktop, apps).
- Work with your team to rapidly test ideas on users, use results for iterations and improve our product.
- Test new languages, libraries and frameworks and evaluate their potential to make sure we never stop innovating. You will share best practices with other teams and help make those a company standard.

About the role
We're building a modern AI powered, enterprise-grade Course Authoring SaaS platform and looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who can ship beautiful, accessible, and reliable web applications using
React
and
—and who enjoys crafting
design systems
and component libraries.
You'll collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend to deliver features end-to-end, establish standards for our
Design System (DS)
and
design token
pipeline, and drive performance, accessibility, and developer-experience improvements.
What you'll do
- Own critical web experiences
built with (App Router) including
Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
,
Static Site Generation (SSG)
, and
Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)
.
- Build and evolve our UI system:
component library, theming,
design tokens
, accessibility primitives, documentation (Storybook), and usage guidelines.
- Create high-quality components
with strong
User Experience (UX)
: forms, tables, dashboards, and complex workflows (wizards, multi-step approvals).
- Ship enterprise features:
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
views, audit trails, usage analytics, export/download flows, and tenant-aware theming.
- Engineer for performance & reliability:
set performance budgets, optimize
Core Web Vitals
(Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift), and instrument with monitoring.
- Integrate cleanly with backends:
consume APIs (REST/GraphQL), handle auth (JSON Web Token/OAuth2,
Single Sign-On (SSO)
), errors, and edge cases.
- Raise the engineering bar:
tests (unit, component, end-to-end), code reviews,
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

Required experience

with React;

Define and enforce a pragmatic User Interface (UI) testing strategy

- Playwright or Cypress for end-to-end test - with Mock Service Worker (MSW) for API mocks
- Component/visual checks (Storybook + Chromatic)
- Automated accessibility (axe) audits
- Flake-free Continuous Integration (CI) gates
- Enterprise SaaS patterns:
multi-tenant UX, RBAC, feature flags, audit logging, pagination/virtualization for large datasets.
