Ekante Bliss is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a full-time position at our prestigious Tirupati location. Qualifications and Skills

Role Summary:

The Head - Project will oversee the construction, fit out of new showrooms & related works and ensure adherence to launch plan. He would lead the Project's/ Interior's team at Khazana. He would work closely with both senior management and his team of site engineers to ensure on-time execution of expansion plans.

Key responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of Head - Project would include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for coordinating and obtaining GFC for project sites.
• Coordinate with all the internal stakeholders for internal approvals pertaining to design, materials to be used, QS reports on material quantity and related costs.
• Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of projects by vendors in line with the approved parameters of the management.
• Responsible for both civil and interiors related to all offices/branches and showrooms of the company for either renovation or new construction.
• Responsible for timely execution of projects across multiple locations.
• Co-ordinate with Architect to develop store layout & work closely with senior management to finalize the layout
• Plan manpower allocation to all sites for construction.
• Review progress on a routine basis along with the team.
• Adopt best-practices and processes to ensure execution of interior works to perfection
• Assist PMO (Project Management office) to track & update progress of new store launch
• Update the progress of new stores progress to senior management and escalate issues & support required.

To supervise all construction activities, providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities including HSE management.

2) To prepare Estimates, Bill of Quantities,Resources based on Productivity data, Certification of Contractors Bills.

3) To implement QA / QC procedures, Prepare Method Statements including inspection and test plans.

4) Ensure QA/QC Requirements as per Tender documents and approved quality plans.

5) To manage contractual correspondence, raise and settle contractual claims with respect to cost and time.

6) Prepare and manage the schedule of the works.

7) Conducting review meetings for progress of work.

• Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, including site reconnaissance, soil borings, and in-situ testing.
• Perform detailed geotechnical analyses, including foundation design (shallow and deep), slope stability, settlement analysis, and seismic design.
• Design earthworks, retaining structures, and dewatering systems.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, technical memorandums, and construction recommendations.
• Develop civil engineering designs for site development, including grading, drainage, and utility plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, engineering standards, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications effectively.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical and civil engineering consulting.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and construction materials.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Rocscience suite).
• Experience with site development design, grading, and stormwater management.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects, clients, and technical teams.
• Experience with construction observation and materials testing is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
