Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants for geriatric clinical trials according to study protocols and ethical guidelines.
 - Obtain informed consent from participants, ensuring they fully understand the study procedures, risks, and benefits.
 - Manage participant appointments, ensuring all study visits are conducted in a timely manner.
 - Administer study-related procedures, including vital sign measurements, sample collection (blood, urine, etc.), and administration of investigational products, adhering strictly to protocol.
 - Maintain accurate and complete study records, including case report forms (CRFs), source documents, and regulatory binders, in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
 - Monitor participants for adverse events, document and report them appropriately to the principal investigator and regulatory bodies.
 - Prepare and manage study supplies, equipment, and investigational drug accountability.
 - Liaise with principal investigators, sub-investigators, research nurses, and other study team members to ensure smooth study operations.
 - Participate in study initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits conducted by sponsors or regulatory agencies.
 - Assist with data query resolution and ensure data integrity.
 - Stay current with advancements in geriatric care and clinical research methodologies.
 - Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field. A Master's degree is a plus.
 - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, with a significant portion focused on geriatric studies.
 - In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
 - Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and electronic trial master file (eTMF).
 - Strong understanding of geriatric physiology, common conditions, and challenges.
 - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
 - Ability to manage multiple studies and prioritize tasks effectively.
 - Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
 - Certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) is highly desirable.
 - Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
