This opportunity is with Handelnine Global, an e-commerce company that owns and operates15+ online retail brands in over 60 countries. The company has offices in India as well as the USA and servesglobal markets includingthe UK, USA,Europe, Australia, MiddleEast and Southeast Asia.
We’re rapidly growing our core business, expanding internal tools and launching new products, and are opening this position to support our growth.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager/ Manager - Global Operations to manage Handelnine. Global’s fulfillment, logistics, and operational strategies. This is a managerial role that will involve direct ownership of key operational KPIs, as well as cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of business priorities. As a Assistant Manager/ Manager - Operations, you will lead initiatives to improve our global shipping processes, reduce costs, and ensure world-class experiences for our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impactful changes in a high-growth, fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Last mile Operations -
● Design and implement strategies to optimize global shipping costs and delivery timelines while maintaining high service levels.
● Coordinate with 3PLs, customs brokers, and courier partners to monitor performance, conduct root-cause analyses for shipping delays or fulfillment issues, and implement corrective actions.
● Ensure compliance with country-specific import/export regulations and global shipping standards.
● Evaluate and onboard logistics partners to continuously improve global coverage, performance, and unit economics.
Warehouse fulfilment:
● Oversee operations across regional warehouses, regularly monitor performance, resolve fulfillment issues, implement best practices to ensure seamless, cost-effective operations.
● Lead efforts to expand the global warehouse network by identifying new locations, managing setup, and driving operational readiness.
● Optimize warehouse layout and processes to meet regional market demands and ensure cost-efficient fulfillment.
Requirements:
● 4+ years in B2B & B2C international logistics, last-mile operations, or similar roles.
● Expertise in international shipping flows, import/export processes, and courier handling.
● Knowledge of logistics automation tools, shipping APIs, and international shipping compliance.
● Prior experience with international courier companies is preferred.
● Strong numerical and analytical skills to work with performance data and drive decisions.
● Experience leading and mentoring operations teams.
