Job Title : Staff Nurse Home Care
Department : Home Care Nursing Services
Location : This is a field-based role. The nurse will be deployed to patients' homes across various locations within Mumbai as per operational requirements. This position does not involve duties within hospital premises.
Job PurposeTo provide basic and compassionate nursing care to patients at their homes under supervision, ensuring safety, hygiene, and timely execution of care tasks.
Educational Qualification and ExperienceEducation : Mandatory, GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute with valid State Nursing Council Registration.
Experience : One plus years of experience
Desirable: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
Deliver safe, effective, and hygienic nursing care at the patients home.
Assist with personal hygiene, wound dressing, IV fluids, injections, catheter care, vital monitoring, etc.
Follow physician/nursing supervisor instructions accurately.
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain clear documentation.
Monitor patient condition and report any concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Documentation & Communication
Maintain proper nursing notes, vitals chart, and medication logs.
Update case sheet and report patient condition to the reporting manager regularly.
Communicate politely and professionally with patients and families.
Patient Safety & Hygiene
Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols and home care safety guidelines.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste at home.
Team Collaboration
Coordinate with the home care coordinator, physiotherapists, and lab teams as required.
Participate in training and skill upgradation sessions.
