You will also be involved in developing and implementing fitness programs and events to engage members and attract new clientele. Handling member inquiries, complaints, and resolving issues promptly and professionally is a core part of the role. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations is also essential.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in fitness facility management or a similar leadership role within the health and wellness sector. Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills are a must. A strong understanding of fitness industry trends and operations is required. Certifications in personal training or group fitness instruction are a plus. The ability to motivate teams and drive business results is essential. This is an on-site role requiring your full presence at our Gurugram facility.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all operational aspects of the fitness center, including front desk operations, member services, facility maintenance, and staff supervision.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, member satisfaction, and safety standards.
- Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of front desk staff, fitness advisors, and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure the facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the necessary amenities, coordinating with vendors for repairs and upkeep.
- Manage inventory of supplies, retail products, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle member inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to support membership drives, promotional events, and member engagement activities.
- Monitor operational budgets, control expenses, and identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment for staff and a welcoming atmosphere for all members.
- Analyze operational data and member feedback to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the fitness, hospitality, or leisure industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong understanding of fitness industry trends and facility operations.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding member experiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with club management software is highly desirable.
- Budget management and financial acumen.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR are required.
