We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will focus on driving and developing the new Map Intelligence area, a critical set of capabilities that help the business monitor, understand, and evolve the quality of the products Google offers. You will help in the needs and responsibilities including helping set the strategy and roadmap for both Maptrics, the intelligence and measurement platform. You will define and drive the creation and use of actionable insights that enable the business to operate and flourish.
The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate on defining the product goal, strategy and roadmap for the Maptrics developer reporting platform.
+ Understand the needs of the broader Geo makers team in order to identify and develop key insights tools and systems.
+ Define and drive policies and frameworks for use of insights to drive customer success. Advocate awareness and use of Maptrics and insights both internally and externally in order to drive business success.
+ Own cross-functional product development process from ideation through launch driving the development of tools and improvements. This will include crafting PRDs, collaborating with UX/R/D, Eng, GTM, Legal, Privacy, and more.
+ Work with partner teams across Geo and Google to integrate new capabilities into Map Intelligence and the products, including Gen-AI capabilities and support new data.
