Cockatoo Fitness is expanding its government business vertical and is looking for a GEM Specialist to manage our presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
Location: Jalandhar, Punjab (Onsite only)
Type: Full-time
Experience: 1+ years preferred (freshers with GeM knowledge may also apply)
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Managing and maintaining our product listings on the GeM portal
Applying for relevant tenders and bids
Ensuring timely product updates and inventory tracking
Drafting and sending formal emails for queries, tenders, and order follow-ups

- Employvision is looking for Federal Proposal Writers having sound knowledge of RFP/RFQ/RFI management, Bid Management, Capture management, and dealing with US Federal government contracting.
- USA Federal/State/County and Commercial clients experience is a must.
- Experience in Bid Management, Capture management responding to RFP and other presales activities.
- Anchoring responses to Proactive (proposals) as well as Reactive (RFP/RFI) bids as a SPOC for timely submission.
- Proactively identify and propose improvements or innovations to services, product functionality or processes.
- Prepare customer/vertical-specific sales collaterals (Capability presentations, case studies, solution documents, white papers etc.) by working closely with the respective practice teams.
- Assists the sales team to develop and implement account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of relevant (Pre-Sales & Proposal Writing) experience in an IT services / staffing company.
- Understanding of US Federal government, SLED contracting
- Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a good understanding of End-to-End sales life cycle.
- End to End handling of Capture management, lead generation & Bid Management.
- Good presentation skills, well versed with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare proposals, case studies, marketing collateral etc.
- Ability to navigate and get the required information from various stakeholders to design a compelling solution/proposal.

Key Responsibilities
Tender Research & Analysis
Search daily on UK & Ireland procurement portals (e.g., Contracts Finder, PCS, Sell2Wales, eTendersNI, eTenders Ireland).
Identify and qualify micro-bid opportunities (≤ £10k) in Oxodonia’s service areas.
Maintain a live tracker of opportunities, deadlines, and bid status.
Bid Writing & Proposal Development
Read and analyse tender documents.
Prepare clear, concise, and compliant bid responses using Oxodonia’s templates.
Collate supporting documents (policies, certificates, case studies).
Ensure on-time submission through online portals.
Reporting & Coordination
Share daily tender reports with the UK team.
Prepare weekly summaries: tenders found, bids submitted, wins/losses.
Coordinate with the UK Director for bid/no-bid decisions.
Daily Workflow (Typical Day)
Morning (India): Check portals, shortlist opportunities, update tracker.
