Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with 6–15 years of expertise in government sales, media strategy, and public sector engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with institutions such as DIPR (Defence Institute of Psychological Research), DAVP (Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity), PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings), and other government agencies. The role demands a proven ability to deliver impactful media solutions, manage large-scale contracts, and build long-term partnerships across ministries, departments, and public enterprises.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Strategic Government Engagement
- Lead engagement with central and state ministries, PSUs, and defense/public communication departments.
- Develop long-term sales strategies aligned with government priorities and media objectives.
- Represent the organization in policy-level discussions, positioning it as a trusted media partner.
2. Media Solutions & Campaign Development
- Design and present integrated media campaigns (broadcast, digital, print, outdoor) tailored to government and PSU objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, analytics) to deliver effective public awareness and behavior change campaigns.
- Ensure campaign relevance and compliance with DAVP norms, DIPR communication protocols, and PSU guidelines.
3. Tender & Contract Management
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of government and PSU tenders, RFPs, and contracts.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement norms, documentation standards, and pricing protocols.
4. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor a team of sales executives and media strategists.
- Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
- Track campaign KPIs, client satisfaction, and delivery metrics.
- Provide strategic insights and regular reports to internal leadership and government/PSU stakeholders.
Required Qualifications-
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
- Minimum 6–15 years of experience in government sales, PSU engagement, media strategy, or public sector consulting.
- Proven success in securing and managing large-scale government/PSU contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement systems, DAVP advertising norms, DIPR engagement protocols, and PSU compliance requirements.
- Strong network within public sector, PSUs, and government circles.
Preferred Skills-
- Experience in sectors such as public health, education, infrastructure, or civic engagement.
- Familiarity with GeM (Government e-Marketplace), PSU tendering, e-procurement platforms, and compliance protocols.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
