Qualifications:

Education:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering and master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).
  • Essential Criteria:

  • More than total 5 years of professional experience with minimum 2 year of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.
  • Experience of working in the water Industry - Structural design of service reservoirs, various Water and Wastewater treatment units, pumping stations, Reservoirs, retaining walls, thrust blocks, Outfalls, Headworks, Manholes, Concrete design mix, Pipe bedding etc. International Experience is preferred, mainly UK, Europe.
  • Familiarity with Euro Codes of Practices.
  • Experience of Detailed design drawings, Calculations and Bar Bending Schedules.
  • Design reports and Concrete specifications.
  • Experience of various stages of project delivery - Schematic to Detailed design and Site / Construction Support.
  • Understanding of Interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Understanding of 3D environment, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Clash detection, Inter Department Coordination’s etc.
  • Microsoft Office Proficient, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Report Writing etc.
  • Desirable Criteria:

  • Software – Autodesk Robot.
  • International experience.
  • Experience of training and mentoring.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership. We actively support staff in achieving corporate membership of relevant institutions.
  • Worked before in UK Design and Built Projects.
  • Site layouts, Site drainage, Earthworks, Bulk works, Site grading etc.
  • Detailed design of steel structures and connections.
  • Seismic Design of Liquid retaining structures.

  • Responsibility and opportunities:

  • As a Structural Engineer, you will be embedded with Civil & Structural team within W&E Practice and will be responsible for projects design outputs, you will need to liaise with Project lead, design Leads and other disciplines alongside this role to deliver work efficiently. You will be responsible for detailed structural design of various elements for Treatment plants, Water and wastewater utilities, Environment protection works, preparation of structural reports and reinforcement drawings, create structural models by using computer-aided design software, follow construction safety guidelines, choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.
  • Technical:

  • Originating or Checking of Outline and detailed design of various Water and Wastewater treatment units.
  • Providing solutions for designs from buildability point of view.
  • Originator of calculations to international codes of practice.
  • Addressing the TQs, Site RFIs.
  • Checking of calculations and drawings.
  • Management:

  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety requirements and CDM Regulations and incorporate design for safety.
  • Ensure compliance with Atkins Quality Management Procedures.
  • Deliver projects on time and to quality and budget.
  • Mentoring of Graduate/Assistant Engineers.

  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Experience of 13+ years working in Design office
  • Professional Engineer (PE) is a requirement
  • Extensive work experience in concrete and steel structures. Competent to use American and European design standards with ability to work independently.

    As a Group Accountant, you will be joining a team who operate with a collaborative approach to presenting a clear picture of overall financial performance for our group entities within FNZ. Based in Gurugram and reporting into our Group Finance Manager (UK based), you will work in close partnership with the wider Finance team to assist in financial reporting processes while supporting the full breadth of the Group Finance team's responsibilities.

    We are searching for a qualified Accountant who has experience in navigating complexities ideally within a large organisation and is comfortable operating at pace in a growth environment. To achieve success in this role, you will need a good understanding and prior experience with bank reconciliations, invoice postings, experience of period end closes and monthly reporting. A big part of this role is the ability to prioritise a high volume of work and deliver quality reporting.

    The responsibilities will include:

  • Interpret and analyse key financial information

  • Complete bank reconciliations for the Group entities

  • Post invoices within our finance system

  • Maintain accurate vendor/customer cards

  • Support with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process for the Group entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion

  • Assist with intercompany reconciliations and recharges

  • Support preparation of the monthly board pack

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

  • Support with external audit requests

  • Qualified Accountant with 1 + years’ post qualification experience, ideally in a group finance role.

    Job Duties:

  • As Wastewater Modeller, you will be manging on diverse range of sewerage related projects that deliver sustainable benefits to communities and the environment through a range of public and private sector clients.
  • Supervise modeller in bringing together hydraulic modelling (1D-2D) and engineering aspects of the project. You will have to train modeller to understand the engineering constraints and opportunities associated with modelling solutions to drainage problems to ensure model outputs are realistic.
  • Ability to check/review technical work including hydraulic modelling like model build (1D – 2D), model verification, evaluation, feasibility, optioneering and outline design of solutions.
  • Liaise with client on daily basis and build strong internal/external client relationships through value addition.
  • Ability to influence the delivery teams to adopt the smarter way by developing some automation tools along with high quality.
  • Take accountability of high standard deliverables by adopting various check/review methods and documentations.
  • Manging the project team and client relationships, clarifying expectations and outcome measures in order to meet their requirements and deliver successful projects.
  • Support team and business development by being part recruitment, staff development and wining new work in new regions.
  • Requirements:

  • Has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or water resources or environmental engineering or Geology or Geography.
  • 12+ years of experience in hydraulic design or modelling.
  • Preferably should have complete chartership or minimum should be close to undergo the chartership interview with appropriate institution (i.e. ICE, CIWEM).
  • In-depth knowledge or experience of Infowork ICM, Mapinfo, QGIS, Sewer Gems, HEC-RAS, MicroDrainage or similar.
  • A strong, self-motivated and assertive person capable of working/managing under pressure.
  • Good communication & writing skills.
  • Flexible to adopt new work /challenge work as per business requirement.
