Responsibilities: 

The Security Systems Specialist is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security systems to ensure the safety and protection of company assets, data, and personnel. This role involves working with a range of technologies, conducting routine checks, responding to incidents, and contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead the complete project lifecycle of electronic security systems, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
  • Planning & Budgeting: Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Accurately estimate project costs and track expenses.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborates with OEMs, system Integrators and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Design & Documentation: Reviews system designs and site layouts, prepares Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and marks security devices on layouts according to bank security standards.
  • System Implementation: Oversees the installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation of security systems (CCTV, Access Control, IAS).
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitors project performance, tracks progress and provides regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensures adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and client specifications.
  • Change & Issue Management: Manages change requests, Express Tickets and promptly resolves project-related issues.
  • Procurement & Inventory: Oversees the procurement and inventory management of project materials and equipment. Maintains an inventory of in-stock old security system devices.
  • Project Reviews & Reporting: Conducts project review meetings with stakeholders and prepares technical and commercial reports. Share the PAN India Project updates with Internal team on monthly basis.
  • Network Coordination: Coordinates with the network team for whitelisting IP-based security devices. Raises requests to the NOC team for IP addresses and port details.
  • Invoice Vetting: Vets invoices submitted after project completion.
  • CCTV Investigation: Investigates CCTV footage for lost/missing bank assets.
  • IP Based Devices Inventory- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of PAN India IP-based systems, including make, model, serial number, and firmware version.
  • Site-Specific BOQs: Maintain up-to-date BOQ for security systems devices installed at each site.
  • Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems.
