Job Description

• Lead a product line for Hardware development Engineering function that delivers PCB or substrate design based products and development boards
• Work with cross functional teams like ASIC, memory, Systems, FW teams for product deliveries
• Work with SI/PI, Layout and high speed characterization teams for HW design robustness and sign-off.
• Directly responsible for HW design documents, schematics, layout&SI/PI reviews, electrical validation and generating reports
• Knowledgeable in power delivery: usage of PMICs, LDOs and Buck regulators and optimizations
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of high-speed digital design, high-speed memory interface, and serial communications protocols
• Generate layout guidelines for the layout design or Packaging teams
• Knowledge on EMI/EMC/ESD, thermals, mechanicals will be a big plus.
• Good to have working knowledge on DRAMs and/or Flash Controller based designs
• Hands on experience on tools like ORCAD, Allegro viewer
• Experience with J-BERT, VNA, High end oscilloscopes will be a big plus

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer skilled in Allegro and Xpedition, with strong expertise in high-speed PCB layout, schematic interpretation, and manufacturing standards. This role involves designing complex layouts, ensuring signal and power integrity, and collaborating closely with manufacturing teams. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to high-precision designs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Expertise in using ECAD tools such as Allegro/Xpedition software.

• Understand and analyse technical Requirements and Customer input to execute Layout Engineering.

• Experience in designing Layout for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors is big plus. • Understanding the design guidelines from PDG and implementation is big plus.

• Very good knowledge of relevant IPC design standards for Library creation, PCB design and Schematic Entry.

• PCB layout placement with a strong background dealing with analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuitry.

• Experience in high-speed net routing and usage of blind & buried vias. • Knowledge of tab routing is plus.

• Experience in physical, spacing, and electrical constraint settings.

• Should be able to understand and read schematics independently.

• Should have awareness of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity concepts for PCB Design.

• Should work with PCB manufacturers and PCB assembly houses to understand manufacturing rules.

2. Experience in designing a multi-layer high speed board with 6 or more layers and

3. Experience in using PCB design tools like Cadence OrCAD and Cadence Allegro,

Siemens Xpedition, KiCAD EDA etc.

4. Understanding of good layout practices and PCB manufacturing process.

5. Basic knowledge about different aspects of an electrical circuit - Control, Power,

Signal, Noise etc.

6. Excellent communication skills as the role entails interacting with domestic and

international vendors.

7. Good knack of planning and estimating the correct timelines of the project.

Desirable Requirements:

1. An understanding of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity with some past exposure.

2. Experience in designing RF PCBs.

3. IPC Certification is preferred.
