**Analog/ Electrical Validation and Characterization Engineer**
Sandisk, a global storage leading company, is looking for an experienced hardware technical leader for developing characterization methods and be the technical team leader.
As a characterization engineer you will focus on hands-on multi-disciplinary characterizations and Failure Analyses of Flash memory products as well as technically leading your team mates.
Summary of essential job functions:
+ Perform comprehensive characterization methods of embedded memory company products, including developing and implementing new testing protocols
+ Characterize high speed SerDes interfaces, practice signal and power integrity analyses, analog IPs and execute failure analyses and product integration activities in SNDK labs
+ Demonstrate good understanding of Analog/HW Validation flow with hands-on experience in PCIE/UFS/DDR interfaces
+ Technically lead and mentor a team of HW validation engineers, providing guidance on complex issues and fostering professional growth
+ Design and execute test plans for new product validation, ensuring thorough coverage of all critical parameters
+ Analyze and interpret complex data sets, preparing detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and manufacturing to resolve technical issues and improve product performance

+ Develop and maintain documentation for validation processes, test procedures, and best practices

+ Optimize existing validation processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market
+ Contribute to the development of internal tools and automation scripts to enhance validation capabilities

**Qualifications**

Job Overview
As an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing products which will be deployed in Electric vehicles. Your responsibilities will span from initial conceptualization to field deployment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze hardware issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Create hardware architecture diagram based on the requirements
- Select components to meet technical and commercial requirements
- Ideate circuits and simulate them using software tools for validation
- Create and prototype electronic circuits and systems
- Guide PCB designers to create optimized layout considering technical and commercial aspects
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing phases
- Investigate hardware failures and identify their root causes, and create reports
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Work closely with software engineers, firmware developers, and other team members to integrate hardware with software systems

About the Role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Hardware Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced product development environment and has hands-on experience in end-to-end hardware design — from schematic to final testing.
As a core member of the engineering team, you will take ownership of designing, prototyping, and optimizing complex hardware systems — including RF modules , camera circuits , and processor/controller-based designs .
- Lead the design and development of digital and analog hardware systems.
- Design multi-layer PCBs with signal integrity and EMC best practices.
- Select, evaluate, and optimize Bill of Materials (BoM) for performance, cost, and availability.
- Develop RF hardware circuits for communication systems.
- Collaborate on camera-based projects including sensor interface, ISP, and peripheral control.
- Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and software teams for successful integration.
- Take designs from concept to production — including testing, debugging, and iteration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in hardware development and embedded systems .
- Proven experience with processor/microcontroller-based designs (e.g. ARM, RISC-V, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with PCB design & layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, Eagle).
- Strong knowledge of RF principles , antenna matching, impedance control, and RF testing.

- Technical Expertise
- Proven experience in designing ultra-low-noise analog front-ends and precision analog circuits.
