We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Hardware Verification Engineer** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing hardware-level test strategies to ensure the performance, reliability, and compliance of complex electrical and embedded systems. **About the Role:**

**Job Overview**
The Test Technician will support the execution of DV, PV and Development testing for Sensor Products across automotive, medical and industrial applications. This role requires a details-oriented, hands-on individual with a strong foundation in test methods, test setups, test execution, data analysis and compliance with international standards.
**Job Requirements**
+ - Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in product validation, reliability testing, preferably in sensors or automotive, medical domain- Prepare and setup test fixtures, instruments, and chambers for executing DV, PV and qualification tests.- Execute Functional Tests, Environmental tests (thermal cycling, vibration, humidity, pressure and electrical tests), etc- Record and manage test data accurately and Test report generation.- Interpret and apply standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, AEC-Q100/102/103.- Support in developing test plans and procedures aligned with product requirements and regulatory needs.- Maintain test methods, fixtures and documentation in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.- Operate and maintain test equipment for electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing for maintenance, calibration and test efficiency.- Analyze test data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab), identify trends, - Coordinate with the design and development teams for test schedules and support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for any test failures.- Collaborate with global design and validation teams to align test scope, timeline and acceptance criteria.- Contribute to lab standardization and continuous improvement initiatives in test methods, automation, and lab efficiency.- Ensure Test activities are executed safely in compliance with EHS safety, quality, and documentation standards in the lab environment- Must be willing to work in shifts and need to be in office weekly 5 days- Hands on experience with environmental chambers, DAQs, sensors, and measurement systems.- Understanding basic electrical and mechanical testing principles.- Experience in DV/PV test execution, data analysis and preparing test reports.- Familiarity with test automation tools, ISO 17025, IATF, AEC-Q qualification Test methodologies.- Experience with tools like LabVIEW, CANalyzer, Minitab, MS Excel, etc- Skilled in use of DAQ, Oscilloscopes, Lab Instruments, Pressure / Vibration / Humidity, Climatic chambers, etc- Proficiency in interpreting and applying international and customer-specific standards.- Hands-on experience with test equipment and instrumentatio

**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice. They are responsible for product development, and qualification from market definition through production and release; assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. They create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics and systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing and measurement, and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical and electronic components, products, and their integration into systems.
**KEY RESPONSBILITIES:**
- Experience: 12-16 years in Test & Validation Engineering, preferably in sensors or high-reliability components and 4-5 years in a leadership role.
- Lead and manage Test Planning, Execution and reporting for Design Validation, Product Validation and Qualification Testing for sensor products, ensuring compliance with global standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Build a high performing team of test engineers and technicians to support validation programs globally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams (globally) to define and drive hands-on execution of test strategies, test plans and timelines aligned with NPD schedules with a strong flair for problem solving.
- Interpret and apply international and industry-specific standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, AEC-Q100/102/103, and customer-specific protocols.
- Analyze test data, derive insights, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and decision-making across global cross-functional teams.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory frameworks across automotive, medical, and industrial sectors.
- Collaborate with global engineering, program management, and customer teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Champion lean practices, drive standardization, reuse of test methods across product lines, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to optimize lab operations and reduce costs.
- Explore and implement advanced testing techniques and automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python).
- Represent the BU in global forums, audits, and customer interactions with clear, concise communication.
- Ensure safe lab operations and adherence to EHS guidelines.
- Contribute to Capex planning, budgeting, cost tracking and KPI governance.
- Act as a key player in the strategic roadmap for lab automation, digital reporting and lab data management systems.
