Your Role:-
- To ensure that the PSMS is implemented in Capgemini Engineering India GEC
- To build the Safety Capability of Capgemini Engineering India
- To develop the Safety Offer of Capgemini Engineering India
- To provide technical safety engineering pre-sales and bid support to the sales and bid teams as required
- To identify Safety-related bids and projects in the region
- To put in place appropriate controls on safety related bids and projects in accordance with the PSMS
- To provide technical safety oversight of safety related bids and projects including review and approval of bid and project safety deliverables according to the PSMS, and recommendations for approvals and escalations of issues to the PSMS committee
- To actively contribute to the ER&D GBL PSMS Committee, which oversees the development, application and maintenance of the PSMS
- To ensure the appropriate legislation and standards are adhered to
- To ensure that suitably qualified and experienced safety resources are allocated to all safety related roles
- To support Safety coordinators in perimeters agreed with the Capgemini Engineering GBL Safety Authority.
- Support Quality Assurance activities. Defining, implementing and maintaining Quality Management System guided software development life cycles, processes and practices
Your Profile:-
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in the application of safety management and/or engineering to safety related/safety critical systems, with experience in activities such as:
- Safety Management/responsibility for ensuring the implementation of a Safety Plan
- Preparation of key safety related documents, e.g., Safety Plan, Safety Cases;
- Conducting Hazard Analysis and risk assessment,
- Application and use of safety analysis techniques to include HAZOP/HAZID, FTA, FMEA, ETA and supporting tools
- Management of Hazard Log
- Derivation and management of safety requirements
- Knowledge of legislation and national/international safety standards (e.g.: ISO26262, IEC61508, DO178)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Leadership skills
- Played Quality consultant role for ensuring implementation of QMS, certifications and assessment like TL9ooo, ISO, ASPICE ISO13485, CMMI, AS9100

Role Description :- You will be a part of the Capgemini Engineering organization, a world-wide leader in Engineering. As the ER&D India Safety Authority, you will be responsible management and implementation of Capgemini Engineering’s Project Safety Management System (PSMS) related to safety in bids and projects. You will also be responsible for the development of the region’s safety capability and safety offer. You will be part of the overall PSMS Committee within the Capgemini Engineering Global Business Line (GBL), reporting to the GBL Safety Authority and CTO.
