Job description:

We are hiring a
Head of AI
to lead the architecture, research-to-production work, and engineering for our core platform initiatives that form the Neocortex of AGI. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for an ML/AI expert (Master's/PhD-level or equivalent) who can validate research claims, harden models and infra for production, and lead development of a defensible, enterprise-grade memory & agent OS.

Note:
Applicants with experience drafting, filing, or managing patents / IP portfolios are strongly encouraged to apply; we expect IP strategy to be part of the role.

You will:

1. Architect and own the full AI stack: ingestion pipelines, vector/graph memory layers, reconsolidation/versioning, hybrid retrieval, reranking, agent orchestration, multi-model routing, and observability.
2. Translate research concepts (reconsolidation, temporal memory, continual learning) into reproducible engineering deliverables and tested components.
3. Lead model selection, fine-tuning, RL/RLHF design, evaluation metrics, and hallucination mitigation strategies.
4. Design & run reproducible benchmarks (precision/recall, temporal tasks, P50/P95/P99 latencies, cost-per-response) and publish internal result reports.
5. Build secure, enterprise-ready features: ABAC/row-cell-level access control, audit trails, GDPR/CCPA purge flows, and encryption best practices.
6. Productionize ML systems: CI/CD for models, model versioning, canary deploys, autoscaling, and SLOs for latency/cost.
7. Collaborate with product, security, and business leads to align roadmap with monetizable use-cases (enterprise pilots, developer APIs, product integrations).
8. Own technical due diligence for pilots and investor conversations; prepare demos, reproducible scripts, and benchmark comparisons vs competitors.
9. Recruit, mentor and lead a cross-functional team (ML researchers, ML engineers, MLOps, data engineers).
10. Drive documentation, experiment logging, reproducibility, and IP-conscious engineering practices (invention disclosures, patent drafting support).

Compensation:

We are an early-stage Company and do not offer payroll initially. However, you would be eligible for ESOP and constant performance-based bonuses depending on your longevity and performance with the company. Salary will commence as soon as funding or revenue supports payroll, with equity and incentives designed to reflect the importance of this leadership role.
