Healthcare Strategy Consultant

Experience Required: 10–15 Years

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in healthcare consulting, business strategy, or healthcare transformation roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading or contributing to strategic engagements for healthcare providers, payers, life sciences, or public health organizations. This includes product implementations, configurations, assessments, M&A activities and improvement in client stickiness.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and driving enterprise-level healthcare strategy initiatives, carving out solutions with the stakeholders driving sales through customized solutions for existing clients and participating in RFP’s and sales calls.
  • Understanding of evolution of healthcare in both government (Universal Health) and Private ecosystems, history of challenges and solutions in healthcare being implemented across all healthcare ecosystems.
  • POV’s on innovations in healthcare, transformation in healthcare, addressing key challenges of the day, focussed articles on country specific regulations, goals and next steps, upcoming changes and addressing the need to ensure clean, healthy and accessible healthcare for all.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliances and mandates their environments, reimbursement models, and digital health trends across regions (, US, UK, EU, APAC) and upcoming transformations in countries to best address the healthcare needs of their people.
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent).
  • Certifications in strategy or healthcare (, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, HFMA) are a plus.

    The Healthcare Strategy Consultant plays a critical role in shaping and executing high-impact strategies for healthcare organizations across global markets. The consultant works closely with senior leadership to influence strategic direction and decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

This role involves leading strategic engagements with clients across the healthcare and social services sectors, including government bodies, multilaterals, private entities, and civil society organizations. The consultant will be responsible for driving impactful solutions through market assessments, process optimization, and innovative strategy development. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, consulting experience, and a passion for improving public health and social outcomes.
