About The Role
We are looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. If you were here last week, these are some of the things you may have done:
- Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
- Utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
- Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
- Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
- Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
- Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
- You’ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor

To work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration such as the below:
- If you are an Occupational Therapist, you will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- If you are a Speech Pathologist, you will have a degree in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
- If you are a Social Worker, you will have a degree in Social Work and AASW membership
- If you are a Mental Health Nurse, you’ll have a degree in Nursing and AHPRA registration
- You have a degree in Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field
You’ll also need:
- Be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required)
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Strong communication skills and be a team player
- Commitment to personal and professional growth
- A valid Australian drivers license
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Childrens Check

Located in the South Eastern Suburbs of Victoria, our client, a renowned Australian Owned Pharmaceutical Manufacturer (150+ production workforce) is looking for a Plant Hygiene Supervisor as part of their Senior Team.
We are looking to find an individual who has worked their way up from a cleaning role into a team leader/supervisor's position, having an understanding of the role from the ground up. The best background that we believe would be the best fit would be if the successful candidate’s work experience is from the health care industries as contamination and infection control training and experience is critical for the successful management of the plant hygiene.
As a Plant Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for 12+ cleaners across 2-3 shifts, have outstanding knowledge of contamination/infection control as well as be, familiar with safety data sheets, manual handling and safety health and environment requirements applicable to a plant hygiene function. This role will also require you to manage a supply of plant hygiene resources (PPE, approved cleaning products) etc.
To be successful, you must have:
Extensive experience and training on contamination and infection control from the Healthcare IndustryUnderstand Industrial / Healthcare Cleaning from the ground up
Experience managing a team of 12 cleanersExperience with Safety Data Sheets, SH&E, Manual Handling and Purchasing of Plant Hygiene Resources

About the Role:
The Clinical Trials Unit provides support for the conduct of clinical research at Canberra Hospital. The Unit currently has active trials in varying stages ranging from ethics submissions to trial close outs. The number of participants in each trial varies from approximately 1 to 1000 participants. These trials are either Pharmaceutical Sponsored trials, Collaborative or Investigator Led trials that are funded by grants such as the National Health & Medical Research Council.
The Clinical Trials Unit is establishing an in-house sample processing and coordination function to support the increasing volume and complexity of clinical research at Canberra Hospital. This newly created role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of trial-related specimen handling, including processing, packaging, storage, transport, and documentation, in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and sponsor requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical trial coordinators, sponsors, couriers, and laboratory partners to ensure efficient and high-quality specimen management. With support of the management team, this position will play a key role in establishing new workflows, documentation, and relationships to support a scalable and sustainable service. Experience with specimen processing techniques (e.g., spinning, aliquoting, freezing), logistics coordination, and a strong understanding of trial protocols and regulatory requirements is essential. While the role does not initially have direct reports, it is expected to contribute to service development and future team expansion.
