Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design teams for healthcare projects from concept to completion.
- Develop innovative and functional design concepts for hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities.
- Ensure designs meet all regulatory requirements, codes, and healthcare standards.
- Collaborate closely with medical professionals and clients to understand their needs.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient building systems.
- Prepare and present design proposals, renderings, and documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior architectural designers.
- Review design work for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Manage design schedules and contribute to project budget oversight.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in healthcare architecture and technology.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Troubleshoot design challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to accessibility and universal design principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on healthcare projects.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex healthcare facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare planning principles, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and manage design teams effectively.
- Excellent understanding of building systems and construction processes.
- Creative vision and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Professional architect registration is highly desirable.
