Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/ Scrum Master with strong experience in U. S. healthcare and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, lead Agile ceremonies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with organizational goals. Experience with digital pathology workflows is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with pathology and laboratory teams to gather requirements, manage product backlogs, and prioritize user stories. ● Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and implementation. ● Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. ● Drive project execution with Agile best practices: track progress, identify risks, resolve blockers, and communicate updates to leadership. ● Support change management, training, and user adoption activities as part of project rollouts and go-lives. Required Qualifications: ● Must be detail-oriented. ● 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Scrum Master in healthcare IT. ● Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent certification. ● Strong knowledge of U. S. healthcare workflows, compliance, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CLIA, CAP, etc.). ● Hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) — Epic Beaker, Cerner, Sunquest, Orchard, or equivalent. ● Proven experience in Agile methodology, with ability to lead cross-functional scrum teams and facilitate Agile ceremonies. ● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. ● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience in digital pathology workflows and systems. ● Prior involvement in healthcare system integrations, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM). ● Technical familiarity with laboratory or imaging systems. About the Role:
An exciting part-time opportunity exists for an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our team at Northern Health. This role requires an AHA who is passionate about providing high quality person-centred care. Working with both Occupational and Physiotherapists within the Community Therapy Services (CTS) at Broadmeadows Hospital, you will deliver individual and group-based therapy through the application of competent clinical treatment skills.
This is a part time role, working 27.8 hours per fortnight.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate IV AHA Qualifications (or equivalent)
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Demonstrated initiative with strong effective communication skills
