Role Overview
As the founding member of our sales organization, you will define and execute go-to-market strategies, lead end-to-end sales cycles, and establish a foundation for a world-class sales team focused on institutional clients in healthcare and education. You’ll collaborate closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure product-market fit, continuous innovation, and a cycle of growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and execute enterprise sales strategy and go-to-market plans for HIS products within the healthcare domains.
· Build and manage a robust pipeline—targeting hospital administrators, school boards, and institutional CXOs.
· Lead the complete sales process from prospecting/discovery, through product demos, to complex deal closure.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and value-driven proposals aligned with organizational goals.
· Act as a trusted advisor to decision-makers, demonstrating deep understanding of industry-specific digital transformation and workflow challenges.
· Collaborate with product, technical, and engineering teams to channel market feedback into ongoing product enhancements.
· Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance analytics, and client feedback for senior leadership.
· Lay the groundwork for the sales team by establishing scalable sales processes, recruiting initial team members, overseeing ongoing training/development, and leading the function as the organization grows.
· Operate with autonomy and take direct ownership of commercial results in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Mandatory Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognized university.
· 6+ years of healthcare software sales experience (preferably HIS, SaaS, or B2B solutions).
· Proven success closing large deals in healthcare; educational sales experience is a plus but optional.
· Strong understanding of digitalization in hospital contexts, and related workflows.
· Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles and engaging with C-level stakeholders.
