The Data Analyst for the HR Operations (HRO) Department will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting. HR data to support decision-making processes and improve HR functions within the shared services environment. The candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with HR data, and the ability to translate complex data sets into
actionable insights.
Role & responsibilities
1. Data Collection and Management:
Gather, clean, and maintain HR data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and manage HR databases and data systems to streamline data collection processes.
2. Data Analysis:
Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to recruitment, employee performance,
turnover, compensation, and other HR metrics. Conduct predictive and prescriptive analyses to forecast HR
trends and support strategic planning.
3. Reporting and Visualization:
Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to HR
leadership and other stakeholders. Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on key HR metrics to support business
objectives.
4. Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in HR processes and provide data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with HR
teams to implement process improvements and track their impact.
5. Compliance and Data Governance:
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies regarding HR data. Establish and enforce data governance practices to maintain high data quality standards. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR leaders, business partners, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. 7. Support HR initiatives and projects with data analysis and reporting as required.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A
masters degree is a plus.
- Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within HR or a shared services environment.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems and HR data analytics.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data insights clearly to
