Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits and other cross-functional stakeholders of different verticals to understand and deliver on their data needs.
  • Design and implement report administration framework, develop self-service HR dashboards that will improve organizational abilities to plan for future talent needs
  • Compile the HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the HR & TA Dashboards, hiring trends, various engagement surveys, onboarding feedback, exit interviews,
  • Carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis from data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Identify and recommend reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Facilitate implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Making and checking of incentive provision file for respective business.
  • Responsible for making and checking incentive paid files for respective business.
  • Handle incentive help desk and take care of employees queries.
  • Responsible to making and checking PIP files based on incentive files for respective business.
  • Design and implement HR Analytics models to capture right data from various functions of HR i.e. TA, Engagement and Ops.

Requirements and skills:

  • Experienced in Excel and analytics.
  • Knowledge of Power Bi/ tableau would be an addition.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures.

The HR Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR data to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsilibities :

HR Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data related to workforce trends, turnover, recruitment, and compensation etc.
  • Design and maintain HR dashboards and reports for leadership review.
  • Provide on-demand analytics support to HR business partners and leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Process Improvement & Insights

  • Identify trends and patterns in HR data and suggest actionable insights.
  • Support the development of predictive models for workforce planning and attrition risk.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes and automate routine tasks using analytics tools.

HR Systems & Technology

  • Work with HRIS platforms (SAP) to provide database and payroll related inputs, extract and generate regular reports from system.
  • Support HR system implementation and upgrades, including data migration and testing.

Compensation & Benefits Analysis

  • Assist in salary benchmarking, market analysis, and internal equity studies.
  • Provide data support during annual compensation reviews and benefits evaluations.

Talent Management Support

  • Track and report on KPIs related to recruitment, performance appraisals, and learning & development.
  • Monitor diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) metrics.

Key Skills :

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tool Power BI
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Python for data manipulation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP and labor laws and HR best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative SG 26 Analyst to join the Optum People Analytics team. This role plays a key part in delivering people data insights and reporting that informs strategic decisions across business units. Based in Gurugram, India, the analyst will partner closely with consultants, people business partners (PBPs) and business stakeholders to ensure consistent analytics coverage and support for key initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring solid stakeholder management skills, broad technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for enabling data-driven HR strategies. Core responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, Power BI dashboard refresh and management, data quality monitoring, and support for both standard and adhoc reporting needs related to HR metrics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder & PBP Support - Build solid, collaborative relationships with fellow analysts and consultants, PBPs, HR Operations, and cross-functional partners primarily across OGA, Optum Tech & Optum Corporate functions. Act as a trusted analytics advisor by helping these stakeholders interpret dashboards, navigate tools, and apply insights to drive strategic workforce decisions. Track key metrics such as headcount, attrition, and hiring to surface anomalies and insights
  • Reporting & Analytics Delivery - Own the delivery of both adhoc and recurring reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business needs. Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and guide users toward self-service solutions where appropriate to improve efficiency and reduce duplication. Ensure data & metrics consistency across all reports
  • Data Privacy & Confidentiality - You will be entrusted with sensitive employee data. Maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of data privacy is not just expected, it is essential. This includes safeguarding personally identifiable information (PII) & confidential employee information, applying appropriate access controls, and exercising discretion when working with confidential workforce insights
  • Data Governance & Quality - Ensure the integrity and reliability of people data by identifying, `investigating, and resolving data quality issues. Collaborate with consultants to maintain governance standards and proactively monitor. We appreciate those who think critically. Here’s a riddle for the observant.     • Experience working with Workday is a plus.
