**Summary**
(HR Compliance professional with good experience in statutory compliance, labour law management, audits, vendor coordination, and policy governance across multi-location offices and factories. Known for ensuring seamless compliance processes, supporting employee engagement, and partnering with leadership to strengthen governance. Approximately 10 -12 years of relevant experience preferred)
**Core Responsibilities**
+ **Statutory Compliance & Risk Management** - Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESIC, CLRA, Professional Tax, Trade License, and Shops & Establishment Act. Manage registrations, amendments, and returns to keep operations fully compliant.
+ **Audits & Inspections** - Handle external inspections (ISO, labour authorities) and coordinate internal audits with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams. Maintain documentation and ensure timely closure.
+ **Vendor & Client Coordination** - Manage compliance vendors, invoices, and contract renewals. Support client compliance submissions (Tata Steel, Reliance portals), meeting all deadlines and site-specific requirements.
+ **POSH & Employee Engagement** - Act as POSH facilitator by reframing the Internal Committee, issuing appointment letters, and organizing quarterly trainings/workshops across India. Promote a safe and inclusive workplace culture.
+ **Policy Governance & Leadership Support** - Partner with Legal and Leadership teams to update HR policies in line with evolving labour laws. Ensure all offices and factories remain aligned with the latest regulations.
+ **Compliance Reporting & Operations** - Prepare monthly dashboards, statutory returns, and HR compliance tool updates in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Coordinate with statutory bodies for filings, clarifications, and notices. Ensure accurate reporting, timely filings, and smooth regulatory interactions.

Position: Head – HR Compliance, Employee & Industrial Relations
Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)
Reporting To: CHRO
Purpose of the Role:
To lead Statutory HR Compliance and Employee/Industrial Relations across India, ensuring adherence to labor laws, building strong external stakeholder relationships, and safeguarding organizational compliance posture in a large, distributed workforce model. This is a leadership role within a complex, compliance-driven, multi-site FM environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive pan-India statutory compliance across multi-site operations (Factories & Establishments) covering S&E, CLRA, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, etc.
- Act as company representative before Labour Courts, Tribunals, Statutory
Authorities, Trade Unions and other external bodies.
- Build and sustain constructive industrial relations across diverse geographies.
- Liaise with external counsel, inspectors, and government officials; ensure smooth handling of inspections and audits.
- Assess legal risks in new client contracts / bids and provide compliance support during business expansion.
