Job Summary:
The HR Compliance Executive ensures the company complies with all applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies. This role involves maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with statutory bodies, and working closely with internal teams and external agencies to avoid any legal or regulatory issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, CLRA).
- Handle registrations, renewals, and filings for various labor-related licenses.
- Monitor and track changes in legislation and ensure timely updates in policies/processes.
2. Documentation & Audits:
- Maintain all statutory records and registers as per labor laws.
- Prepare for statutory, labor, and internal audits; coordinate with auditors and labor inspectors.
- Maintain employee records such as attendance, salary registers, and compliance files.
3. Documentation & Audits:
- Ensure contractors/vendors comply with labor laws and submit compliance documents regularly.
- Conduct periodic audits of manpower contractors' compliance records.
4. Liaison with Authorities:
- Act as a point of contact for government and statutory bodies (Labour Dept., EPFO, ESIC, etc.).
- Handle inspections, notices, and responses to statutory authorities.
5. Policy Implementation & Reporting:
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
- Generate monthly compliance reports and share with senior management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and compliance software/tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
