Role: HR Consulting Intern
As an HR Consulting Intern at Acumen, you will support our clients' operational excellence and gain firsthand exposure to consulting and HR practices. This is a structured, hands-on opportunity for students or recent graduates, especially those with a background in Psychology, eager to learn, collaborate, and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist consultants in engaging with clients to understand their operational challenges and provide timely support
- Collaborate with team members to help execute operational initiatives and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Contribute to HR interventions and help deliver measurable results under the guidance of senior team members
- Support the implementation of operational plans and strategies for client projects
- Take notes during meetings, document processes, and develop process flow diagrams
- Gather and assist in monitoring KPIs and Management Information System (MIS) parameters
- Work with cross-functional client teams to identify process improvement opportunities
- Share new ideas that foster a culture of continuous improvement within client and internal teams
- Assist with business development activities, including attending prospect meetings and helping create proposals
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support project teams and meet deliverables

+ Design and deliver dashboards and visualizations that communicate the health and progress of talent pipelines and learning initiatives to HR and business stakeholders.
+ Manage and enhance reporting processes across key talent systems (e.g., Performance Management, New Hire Training, Leadership Development) using tools like Workday and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Seek opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate reporting and analytics processes.
+ Conduct in-depth analysis of employee engagement survey results and talent pipeline metrics (e.g., high potentials, site leaders, promotions) to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
