Working at our sites in Benalla or Mulwala - Pangerang and Yorta Yorta land, the purpose of your role is to coach and mentor personnel, provide technical advice, and proactively promote safety improvements.
Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor and custodian of standards, leading the implementation and maintenance of HSE strategies and improvement plans
Support the rollout of Thales Australia HSE policies, ensuring compliance with all procedures
Coach and mentor leaders and teams from management level through to the shop floor to achieve HSE objectives, while collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address health, safety, and environmental risks
Lead reporting and investigations of hazards, incidents, and injuries/illnesses, and ensure follow-ups are completed
Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, keeping accurate records of safety inspections, permits, and licenses
Drive continuous improvement in HSE culture
On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:
Solid experience in an HSE advisor, business partner or operational role, preferably in a complex, high-risk environment, ideally within a construction, industrial or manufacturing setting
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the fields of HSE, management systems and relevant legislation
Sound understanding of Injury Management, Workers Compensation and Health Promotion
Relevant tertiary qualification in work health and safety, risk management, or related field
Ability to obtain Australian Defence Clearances

About the department:
You will be joining the Health, Safety and Environmental department of organization in the Manufacturing.
SSAMESA Region Manufacturing is approximately 1200 people at 3 locations in 2 different countries. The responsibility for the manufacturing is to supply equipment for Mining and Cement industries.
HSE Dept plays a supporting role to perpetuate HSE management systems and develop the HSE culture at the workplace.
Job scope:
Accelerating the HSE management system implementation at manufacturing unit. You will be solid line reporting to the head of HSEQA-Manufacturing. Dotted line reporting to plant heads / GM. Need to work enthusiastically to align with organizational HSE goals. In detail your tasks will includes:
- Implementing HSE management systems ISO45001, ISO14001, organization HSE policies, practices and procedures, along with line management support.
- Establish and sustain the HSE systems to manage the safe workplace.
- Ensure the compliance with legal and other HSE requirements.
- Organize necessary HSE training to workforce to develop awareness.
- Facilitate and support all dept to carryout Risk& Opportunity, HIRA, EAI and advise additional controls.
- To advise plant and equipment inspections & maintenance, and to carry out plant safety inspections on safe work practices to mitigate the unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Ensure the updated emergency response plan and preparedness in the factory, and safety & firefighting equipment are maintained in good conditions.
- Ensure industrial hygiene and occupational health standards, monitoring reports are maintained.
- Support locations and concerned team to set, achieve organizational HSE objectives & targets, Mission Zero goals.
- Monthly reporting the HSE and sustainability key performance indicators
- Facilitating internal and external HSE audits to ensure compliance with organization HSE standards and management systems.
- Facilitating to report and investigate HSE incidents to identify the root causes of accidents and advise on corrective actions. Share the incident alerts.
- Liaison with engineers, management and Health and Safety regulatory authorities.
- Organize HSE committee meetings, campaigns and promotional activities.
- Continuously improve the HSE standards, positive culture and develop the interest of the workforce in maintaining safe workplace.
What you bring:
- This position requires a highly motivated, energized person to work at Manufacturing unit to meet the HSE management system requirements.
- Any engineering degree / diploma with additional qualification of degree/diploma in industrial safety.
- Strong Industry HSE experience with a minimum of 8+ years, worked minimum 2-3 years in Manufacturing sector.

Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices
# Job Summary:
Responsible for providing ESH advice and facilitating, promoting, and coordinating activities related to ensuring the health and safety of all project employees is maintained. Champions ESH on the project and continuously contributes to a positive safety culture leading by example, coaching personnel, and providing timely advice and support as required for the project workforce. Willing and able to work overtime and if required night shift, as needed to support safe project execution. Provides support to management, supervision, craft professionals and subcontractors. This role requires high levels of engagement with field-based teams, accessing elevated work areas via multi-level stairs, permanent and temporary vertical ladders, scaffolding and aerial work platforms.
# Major Responsibilities:

This role serves as a key enabler of Castrol India PU's HSE&C (Health, Safety, Environment & Carbon) agenda, ensuring alignment with bp’s Operating Management System (OMS) and regulatory expectations.
The position leads the implementation of HSE & C compliance processes, risk management frameworks, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) initiatives, while driving performance tracking and continuous improvement.
Acting as the focal point for HSE systems, training, and customer engagement, the role supports safe, compliant, and sustainable operations—contributing directly to bp’s broader strategy of delivering safe, efficient, and low-carbon energy solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Focal point for transitioning of HSE&C processes and launching new bp tools/ applications to ensure alignment with OMS 4.1 requirements and GDPs on Control of Work, Risk, Crisis & Continuity Management.
2. Coordinate Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) initiatives for Used oil and used Plastic in Castrol India with Base oil management and Planning team.
3. Coordinate with relevant customers to retain EPR registration, compliance to regulatory requirements, filing annual returns, interpreting evolving regulations and working with PMCs to ensure compliance and sustainability.
4. Coordinate with India PU HSE Manager, Road Safety team & Plant HSE advisors to track progress against the HSE&C Plans and key performance indicators (critical metrics) and prepare MIS reports based on analyses.
5. Focal Point for review and analysis of the self-verification reports and share insights to India PU HSE&C Manager for developing HSE plan.
6. Provide inputs for employee and customer communication programs to enhance awareness and engagement with HSE&C initiatives.
7.Coordinate with the global flow to work teams to maintain HSE&C related proficiencies as per OMS and provide insights on gaps in proficiencies for safety critical roles.
8. Support PU HSE&C Manager in launching targeted safety campaigns and programs to improve workforce awareness and to ensure compliance with requisite proficiencies.
9. Facilitate HSE&C training programs on Situational awareness, Process Safety Fundamentals for Castrol India, ensuring their effective integration across operations.
10. Provide HSE&C support to Castrol India’s Corporate and Regional Offices as the Control of Work Authority, ensuring safe execution of office site-related repair, service, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
11. Focal point for HSE related information for external reports e.g. Annual report etc.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Graduate in Engineering stream. Formal HSSE&C qualification ADIS or NEBOSH.
2. Minimum 10-12 years experience in manufacturing and leading/ working on world class manufacturing techniques.
Prior experience of working in Industrial, B2B, OEM Set up will be desirable, not mandatory.
3. This position requires good people management, leadership and influencing skills.
4. Experience in communicating and interfacing with all levels of the organization
5. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and developing process enhancing strategies
6. Travel Requirement: 10% (Across the India PU site occasionally).

The position leads the implementation of road Safety compliance processes, managing road safety risk to Castrol front line sales staff, maintaining road safety policies and procedures for Castrol India limited for South and west India region.
Acting as the focal point for Road Safety training, and customer engagement, the role supports front line sales team safe, compliant vehicles —contributing directly to bp’s broader strategy of delivering safe, efficient, and low-carbon energy solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Operating Management System (OMS) Sub Element 3.7 Transportation, with a focus on Road Safety.
• Provide subject matter expertise to embed OMS requirements related to transportation and road safety within Castrol India, supporting detailed and effective risk management.
• Develop and maintain clear, practical, and result-oriented driving safety expectations in line with Castrol’s OMS and India Driving Policy.
• Support the Regions and Functions in meeting Indian regulatory, legal, and BP-specific requirements for driving safety and compliance.
• Set performance standards for road transport safety and support functions in achieving HSE&C objectives and OMS conformance locally.
• Supervise and verify compliance with relevant OMS SEs, BP policies, and local fleet safety procedures.
• Proactively intervene and raise where driving safety performance or OMS conformance is below acceptable levels, ensuring timely corrective action.
• Contribute to the delivery of Castrol India’s HSE&C strategy, policies, and road safety programs, ensuring alignment with national context and operational needs.
• Act as SME for road safety under OMS SE 3.7, driving alignment with policy and global OMS expectations.
• Lead induction and refresher training programs for frontline sales staff, admin teams, and third-party partners to build driving safety capability.
• Ensure 100% compliance with Defensive Driving and Life Saving Rules (LSR) training across roles.
• Supervise key driver behavior critical metrics (speeding, harsh braking, etc.), publish weekly/monthly performance reports, and review trends with Regional Leaders.
• Drive Journey Risk Management (JRM) implementation and ensure all frontline drivers adhere to journey planning protocols.
• Circulate weekly safety awareness packs and reinforce Safety Leadership Principles (SLPs) through meetings, campaigns, and interactive sessions.
• Conduct field inspections and driving audits as per Drumbeat plans and support Regional Leaders in distributor safety meets.
• Implement field inspection self-assurance and PU-level risk assurance exercises; raise critical gaps and ensure action closure.
• Lead Driving Safety Committee meetings, track compliance, and maintain audit readiness across all sales regions.
• Recognize and reward zero-deviation drivers through monthly communications and annual Club Zero Awards.
• Facilitate mock drills, emergency preparedness checks, and employee engagement in office safety at Mumbai and Chennai sites.
• Promote timely reporting and investigation of incidents using the 5 WHY method, and ensure application of the 5-Step Learning Process.
• Analyze trends from observations, audits, and incidents to proactively reduce road transport risks and support Castrol’s HSE&C strategy.
Education
University degree (or equivalent work experience), preferably in a technical subject area. Formal health, safety, environmental or sustainability qualification (e.g. NEBOSH diploma) or graduate degree or equivalent experience desirable
Skills & Proficiencies
• In-depth knowledge of safety, driver behavior programs, fleet risk management, and safe systems of work in multi-vehicle business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to craft and implement driving safety initiatives across teams.
• Familiarity with telematics systems, driving behavior analytics, and digital fleet safety tools.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) for reporting and trend analysis.
• Strong customer engagement and influencing skills, especially with front-line teams and line managers.

HSE Officer
Role Summary
An HSE officer plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of employees and the environmental sustainability of the company's operations. As an HSE officer, you will have to ensure that an organization complies with relevant health and safety regulations and policies and also promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement all aspects associated with the health & safety and environmental (HSE) management systems at Yuma's Charging and Swapping Facilities.
- Develop, maintain, and implement HSE policies and procedures in coordination with other departments (including risk assessment, fire evacuation/drills, chemical management, PPE, accident/incident investigation, safety committee electrical safety, LOTO etc. ).
- Perform periodic HSE inspections (including electrical safety) for charging and swapping facilities.
- Comply with all relevant HSE standards, laws and regulations (EPA, OSHWC Code, ISO standards, Fire Safety and Magna corporate).
- Record and report workplace incidents, accidents, or hazard reports and complete investigation based on relevant law and regulations and corporate standards. Implement corrective actions plans by working closely with other departments and provide guidance to department supervisors and managers.
- Manage all aspects of Yuma's HSE audit, including all open action items, training requirements, records and policy development and implementation.
- Develop and impart HSE training for employees, contractors, and other relevant groups to create awareness of applicable HSE topics among relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and document measurable HSE targets and objectives in compliance with relevant HSE standards, laws and regulations (EPA, OSHWC Code, ISO standards, Fire Safety and Magna corporate); Assists management with maintaining a program for achieving targets and objectives and recommending solutions for continuous improvement, as needed.
- Work closely with other departments within the organization to develop and implement HSE initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and laws, as well as environmental sustainability practices. They should also be knowledgeable about industry-specific safety requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. They should also be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
