Position Summary: SAP Supply Chain Planning functional Consultant is an important position in the ERP team where you will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders, architects, and ensure the timely delivery of compliant quality solutions in the area of Supply Chain Planning processes in S4 PPDS, IBP & CPIDS.
Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this job is to monitor & troubleshoot issues in daily required processes, deliver enhancements, and system fixes in SAP (RICEFW) when required to enhance business functionality. Responsible for overall release management in SAP related to Supply chain planning processes, including but not limited to IBP, sales and operations planning, supply planning, production planning/detailed scheduling (PPDS), inventory planning, etc. SAP Supply Chain Planning consultant capable of providing solutions to complex medium-term (tactical) and operational planning methodologies. Work with business stakeholders, architects, and implementation partners to enable business outcomes and ensure optimal functionality of SAP. Provide technical guidance and effort estimates on new solutions to optimize business expansion, ensure they are well-documented and simple to understand. Provide support for ongoing operations and identify opportunities to improve processes. Responsible for change management communication, accountable for user acceptance tests and documentation before going live, and post go-live production support handover. Ensure adherence to global SAP design and architecture and participate in architecture review boards as needed. Responsible for ensuring all changes/enhancements meet required quality and compliance requirements (GxP, SOX).
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and configuring solutions (RICEFW) in the area of Supply chain planning processes using IBP. Detailed hands-on/customizing knowledge of SAP IBP, S4 (MM/PP), and S4 ePPDS is a must. Knowledge of APO, ePPDS, S4, SAP IBP, and SAP HANA Enterprise is a prerequisite. Good understanding in the following areas: Sales and Operations planning, Demand planning, Production planning/Detailed Scheduling, Deployment Planning, and Inventory Planning. Good understanding of SAP IBP modules (Response and Supply, Inventory, Sales and Operation Planning, Supply Chain Control Tower), and integration with S/4 HANA. Actively contributing to daily support with focus on SAP IBP, SAP ePPDS module in S/4 HANA, including Incident management, Change management, and Problem management. Solid understanding and practical experience in incident and ChaRM process, as well as in the management of external service providers. Experience in development/configuration/solution evaluation/validation, and deployment
Good analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written communications. Ability to listen, hear, and translate complex business requirements into simple easy to easy-to-understand language. Capable of managing multiple projects and competing requirements with good time management skills. Ability to document, validate, challenge business requirements, and translate them into functional IT specifications. And select the correct solution (direction) that corresponds with the functional specifications. Strong customer focus, result-oriented, and a drive for excellence.
Functional Skills: Knowledge and understanding of IBP and SAP ePPDS module and integration of IBP to S/4. Non-Negotiable: Detailed understanding of IBP Modules and good understanding of planning business processes as it relates to Demand and Supply. For the purpose of fulfilling business needs, IBP (Demand & Supply) & ePPDS solution design and development experience is needed. Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting supply chain management products from SAP is a must for understanding supply chain planning concepts and processes. At least 1-2 implementations and 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP IBP (includes integration with S/4 HANA and S4 PPDS). Knowledge in conducting unit tests, system integration tests (SIT), and troubleshooting issues related to PPDS/ePPDS configuration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP MM, SD, QM, and WM to ensure integrated planning and scheduling processes.
