Immigration Specialist

  • Accountable for all Bangalore ATC employees
  • Fully responsible end to end processing Visas for other countries for outbound Bangalore region
  • Support, advise and oversee the completion of all relevant visa and immigration documents and ensure that they are received within the set SLA’s
  • Strictly ensure that all information provided by the applicant is legitimate, accurate and correct before submitting case to attorney
  • Ensure for timely and accurate communication to employee and stake holders
  • Provide advice to relevant internal departments on company policies and processes; related to visas, visa status, etc.
  • Maintain immigration tracker updates
  • Responsible for visa processing forecast
  • Validate related invoices for accuracy before submitting for payment
  • Adherence to immigration guidelines for the processing of work permits
  • Process and policy adherence in keeping with Company guidelines
  • Documentation gathering for the purpose of processing, record keeping of visas
  • Issuance of “Port of Entry (POE)” letters and client invites
  • Liaison with internal Stakeholders and immigration attorneys
  • Provide support to SBU Lead and Immigration Department Head in the development of internal policies and processes where applicable
  • Provide intelligent reports to Management whenever needed
  • Validate vendor invoices
  • Total control on travel arrangement for outbound Bangalore with cost effective options
  • Monitor and report on customer service issues
  • Adhere to the company guidelines on travel and highlight exceptions

    Legal implementation responsibilities

    1. Take instructions/directions from Legal Head before commencing/initiating any work received from other departments of the Organization.
    2. Initiate and pursue legal proceedings as required by the Organization i.e. prepare writs, defences, submissions and other pleadings in civil/criminal cases both “for and against” the Organization.
    3. Carry out legal research and analysis, identifying important issues and apprising the Organization of emerging legal trends from court decision and tendering advice to avoid unwarranted litigation matters.
    4. Draft and/or review legal letters, contracts and agreements.
    5. Monitor legal obligations under contracts and agreements to ensure compliance.
    6. Maintain database of the status of all court matters involving the Organization.
    7. Assist in the formulation, implementation and/or amendment of policies of Organization.

    1. Work closely with Business Development Team to de-risk the land/real estate acquisition process by:
    2. Acquisition of property/project - Legal due diligence of property.
    3. Attend meetings with property owners/developers/Member of the Societies.

    5. To issue Title Certificate for the property/project and further to prepare all documentations required to complete the said acquisition.
    6. Assist CRM Team to handle customer complaints/queries and maintain great customer service experience.
    7. Be an active memeber in the discussions for making strategies for large scale acquisition.
