As the subject matter expert in SCADA and Instrumentation & Control systems for solar, wind, and substation applications, you will play a key role within the Engineering Services team in India. Your responsibilities will span engineering, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. You will work closely with the project development, construction engineering, and asset management teams across the Asia-Pacific region to support the engineering needs of utility-scale PV solar (including floating solar), wind, and BESS projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for SCADA and I&C expertise, with a core focus on delivering and coordinating all related aspects from concept to commissioning across our renewable energy project portfolio.
How you will make an Impact:
- Be the primary point of contact for all SCADA and Instrumentation & Control Engineering needs of RE project, Grid code compliances and Connectivity requirements for the application of utility scale solar, wind, BESS and Hybrid RE projects.
- Liasoning with various stake holders EPC, OE and OEMs and government authorities (Grid-India, CTU, etc) for all technical matters from concept to commissioning stage.
- Prepare, review of design deliverables such IO/Signal list, wiring diagram, system architecture and communication cable schedule, etc. related to PV SCADA, SAS, PPC, FOTE, Telemetry system, weather station and string/zone monitoring box, etc.
- Prepare, review specifications, scope of works, RPF, Drawings, and QA/QC aspects for all SCADA & I&C engineering.
- Design, development, Modification and troubleshooting for PLC/embedded & SCADA/SAS and connected devices/subsystems.
- LDC signal list validation and verification during plant commissioning and trial runs.
- Identify SCADA & I&C -related project risks, organize them within the project risk matrix, and identifying possible risk mitigations.
- Interaction with sites & provide all the possible technical support to them related to SCADA/PLC/RTU, etc.
- Verification & Validation of the reports of all the parameters configured in SCADA/PLC/RTU, etc.
- Support Installation, supervision, trouble shooting of SCADA, SAS, PPC, Telemetry system and support during commissioning and operation stage.
- Perform other responsibilities as necessary to support the successful completion of projects.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- BE/BTech or Master in Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation engineering from a recognized college/university.
- 8-12 years (min 8 years in Utility scale PV Solar projects across India and APAC region).
- CEng and PE certified (preferred)
