About the role
To provide technical support, investigation, minor works implementation, optimisation and reporting in the field of Process Control to operational and technology groups.
What the role will involve:
- Support Maintainers knowledge of process control systems throughout the business for the competency profiles of INLECS, DETs and electrical personnel state-wide
- Provide supervision, direction, technical advice and guidance to professional engineers and maintenance staff in the specification, design & execution of complex Process Control activities, maintenance, or improvements.
- Provide technical support services in process control inclusive of design criteria, design standards and other technical documentation.
- Review statutes, regulations and standards with regard to process control to ensure the business unit operates in alignment.
- Assist in the development of policies, standards, strategies and templates within process control assets to achieve best practice outcomes and maintain, and improve the effectiveness of the Company’s process control services through audit and analysis or from information provided from other sources (i.e. customer feedback networking etc).
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional qualification (bachelor’s degree) in a Process Control/Instrumentation or related discipline
- Experience in PLC programming, in multiple systems
- Experience in process control system maintenance across multiple systems
- Experience with control systems communications protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, Profibus etc) and related infrastructure .
- Experience in the delivery of process control support to different stakeholders.

**What's the role**
The Process Control Engineer is a key contributor to site operations, deeply embedded in work processes and collaborating across disciplines. Most engineers are assigned to specific plant areas, while some support site-wide initiatives. This role ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability of control systems through proactive engineering and strategic project development.
**What you'll be doing**
+ Execute engineering activities for assigned production assets, including base layer control strategies, HMI design, compressor control, and alarm management.
+ Conduct Proactive Technical Monitoring to identify performance improvements and reliability risks; implement cost-effective solutions with area teams.
+ Collaborate with SIS specialists to design or modify Safety Instrumented Functions in alignment with process safety requirements.
+ Author and assure Management of Change (MOC) documentation within the Process Control discipline.
+ Lead or support failure analysis and causal investigations related to control system incidents; resolve MTO threats with root cause solutions.

**What you bring**
+ Preferably a bachelor's degree holder in Chemical Engineering or Instrumentation.
+ Ideally with 4 years of experience in base layer control, preferably in refining, petrochemicals, or large-scale industrial operations.
+ Proficiency in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is essential. Hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion or Foxboro I/A Series systems is highly desirable.
+ Strong understanding of IPF/SIF, SIS, and alarm management principles.
+ Good knowledge of field instrumentation, including selection, calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of various field devices
+ Experience with MOC processes, turnaround planning, and project development.
+ Knowledgeable in basic Oil Refining processes such as Distillation, Hydro processing, Cracking, Sulphur Recovery, Raw and Wastewater processing.
+ Knowledgeable in operation of Oil Refining equipment such as Heat Exchangers, Distillation columns, Reactors, Gas Absorbers, Strippers, Pumps, Compressors, etc.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Microbiologist to manage the biological and analytical operations at our Compressed Biogas (CBG) facility. The role is critical to ensuring stable digester performance, high methane yield, and compliance with process and product quality standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Environmental Science .
- 5-7 years of experience in anaerobic digestion, wastewater treatment, distilleries, pharma, food/agri-biotech industries.
- Strong knowledge of anaerobic microbial ecology, process monitoring parameters, and troubleshooting .
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (pH meter, titrators, incubators).
- Familiarity with VOA/TIC, NH₄-N, alkalinity, and trace element dosing .
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Monitoring & Analysis
- Conduct routine analysis of digester samples : pH, VOA/TIC, NH₄-N, alkalinity, TKN, COD, DM/oDM, and VFA profiling.
- Monitor gas composition (CH₄, CO₂, H₂S, O₂).
- Interpret trends to provide early warnings of biological imbalances (acidification, foaming, inhibition).
- Test manure samples for compliance with FCO guidelines
- Test raw material
2. Laboratory Management
- Manage and maintain laboratory instruments: pH meters, incubators, gas analyzers, balances, and titration setups.
- Ensure GLP and GDP
- Ensure calibration, preventive maintenance, and availability of reagents/consumables.
- Maintain accurate lab records and daily reports for management review.
3. Biological Support for Operations
- Daily feeding plan
- Guide O&M team on feeding strategies based on lab data (VOA/TIC, NH₄-N, C/N balance).
- Support troubleshooting of digester upsets (low methane %, foaming, inhibition, ammonia stress).
- Advise on nutrient dosing (urea, trace elements) and feedstock mix adjustments.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure process data aligns with statutory bodies and internal quality standards .
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on digester health and biogas quality.
- Support audits, certifications, and subsidy compliance (lab data submission).
5. R&D / Continuous Improvement
- Develop protocols for substrate activity tests (BMP assays, sugar-activity bottles).
- Evaluate new feedstocks (press mud, cow dung, chicken litter, paddy straw, etc.) for methane potential.
- Recommend process improvements for higher gas yield and stable digestion.
