Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team, responsible for integrating real-time Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and computer systems at electric power generation facilities. These include utility-scale solar, wind, hydroelectric, and natural gas plants.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing, installing, configuring, programming, and testing SCADA systems. This role demands a strong understanding of complex control systems and end-to-end communication networks to facilitate seamless data exchange across various devices such as RTUs, PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS, power meters, and meteorological data loggers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SCADA and control systems for power generation facilities.
- Integrate and configure RTUs, PLCs, DCS, and other IEDs.

About the role
To provide technical support, investigation, minor works implementation, optimisation and reporting in the field of Process Control to operational and technology groups.
What the role will involve:
- Support Maintainers knowledge of process control systems throughout the business for the competency profiles of INLECS, DETs and electrical personnel state-wide
- Provide supervision, direction, technical advice and guidance to professional engineers and maintenance staff in the specification, design & execution of complex Process Control activities, maintenance, or improvements.
- Provide technical support services in process control inclusive of design criteria, design standards and other technical documentation.
