About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Field Sales and Service Engineer with 4–8 years of expertise in industrial machinery and equipment. The role combines technical service responsibilities with sales and business development, ensuring seamless customer experience from machine installation to long-term relationship management. The position requires frequent travel to client sites for service, demonstrations, and sales meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Support
- Handle installation, commissioning, and demonstrations of industrial machinery at client sites.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Provide timely service support, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and records of customer interactions.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across manufacturing, packaging, printing, automation, and related sectors.
- Conduct product presentations and technical consultations with potential clients.
- Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert them into confirmed orders.
- Negotiate terms, close deals, and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily/weekly service and sales activity reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, technical) for smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Share market insights, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve business strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Experience: 4–8 years in industrial machinery sales and field service.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery, automation systems, and related components.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
